Dr. Jonathan Kirscher, MD

Didn’t listen to my concerns and instead was condescending and hostile when I asked questions. Needs more work on being a good person because it’s getting in the way of his patients care, as a lot of reviews have shown. Jonathan needs to get out of his tunnel vision of what he read in some dated textbook he read when he was student. If you find yourself in his care, I advise finding someone with a soul.

He cares for my child’s future and health

No one cares more about patients than Dr. Kirscher. Yes, I initially thought he was maybe a tad condescending but then again he wasn't telling me what I wanted to hear. If you want to get loaded up on meds for depression, he probably isn't for you. However, if you want to know the latest school of thought I recommend him. I was already on anti-depressant medication prescribed by another physician. He did not encourage me to go off it, but the fact of the matter is that anti depressants are only part of the story. I was looking for a magic pill. What happened is I started walking on a daily basis and within a week my perspective completely changed. I went from not being able to get out of bed to being excited about getting up. There was absolutely no change in meds or the amount I take on a daily basis. Dr. Kirscher has unwavering commitment to the truth about depression and doing the right thing for his patients.

Went for an initial appointment for my child and left after 10 minutes into the appointment. He came off condescending and rude. He even went so far as to tell me my other child had a wrong diagnosis without even knowing or seeing that child.

Dr Kirscher seem to have more interest in ruling out the only thing we were coming to him for help for. Maybe we caught him on a bad day, but after 2 minutes we couldn't talk with him anymore. The next 30 minutes confirmed we were both wasting each other's time.
