The doctor called the pharmacy to make sure the medication he prescribed was going to be in stock. This was above and beyond and I am thankful.

Embarrassing. My 13 month old son has had two ear infections over the past three months--he spiked a fever of 105 (on a Friday) and when we saw Dr. KenKnight he requested we do a covid test, we respectfully denied the test as our son is 13 months old and I wasn't interested in that as a first test. He then checked our son's ears, SAW fluid in there, but didn't want to give him antibiotics and suggested a covid test. We brought our son in today (the following Monday) to the Hermantown clinic and the Dr. there immediately spotted the ear infection, saw his history with ear infections, suggested a different antibiotic to see if the previous meds just weren't working, and sent us on our way. I try very hard to think our Doctor's won't politicize medicine, but it seems Dr. KenKnight was upset we refused a Covid test at the expense of my son's pain.
