He needs FIRED! I wouldn't give a star if I could
He wouldn't speak to my mother-in-law's son. He prescribed medications that caused harmful side effects. He wanted to keep her knocked out, not to have to deal with her. She is a fall risk and weak, and the nurses would make her wait for hours to get to her. She started getting up to go to the bathroom by herself. She begged the nurses to help her, but they didn't.

Terrible doctor
Took about 60 seconds. Didn't come back with information or give time to ask questions.

Never again
To be short, he told my family there was nothing he could do for my family member & we needed to call hospice care. He did not try to offer care rather said they were dying. Once the oncologist came in & was able to review the issue my family member was having he said they weren’t dying rather in severe psychosis from high dosed steroids. Dr. Holt watched as we crumbled in the hallway & never offered another opinion. He didn’t ask us what led to ER visit just made a death diagnosis bc they have cancer. He was simply the ER dr on call at the hospital & the only person who was over our family member at the time. He had no proof they were dying but did not hesitate to let us believe that.We have loved NEA hospital & their oncology staff but Dr. Holt needs to not speak upon things he doesn’t know for fact. Turned out, they just needed the right meds & the right care. NEA hospital should be ashamed by this drs care. ER drs should only speak on what they know to be fact not an assumption.

Please do not let this man in your hospital room. He doesn’t care about the patient and refuses to listen to anything said. He is an arrogant evil person who absolutely tortured my mother-in-law. He refused medicine that other doctors prescribed and tried to force her to go from ICU to hospice care agains her will. He tried to play God with her life with no concern for how she felt or what she needed.

He is the most dismissive, pompous, arrogant, uncaring, unprofessional and unintelligent doctor I’ve ever had the displeasure of encountering. He almost let my daughter die. His medical license should definitely be re-evaluated. He should never be able to decide make life or death decisions. He doesn’t listen to the patient or his nurses on the floor. I wouldn’t take my worst enemy to this man.

The absolute worst doctor that could ever receive a license. It’s unbelievable that NEA would hire such an unqualified person.
