From beginning to end it was a very positive experience. Staff is professional yet friendly. Dr. Glashow has done 6 surgeries on my family all of which were successful

Disregard my initial very positive review
My initial visit,in early July 2023 ,with Dr Glashow seemed fine. He was casual and friendly. However, he did not even order an XRay of my two knees which I had injured in a violent fall. I appeared with severe pain, swelling and abrasions. His only input was to see a PT whom he recommended. I did see the expert PT who really never had any info from Glashow. The PT had great knowledge of his field but nothing to go on. After seeing another orthopedic surgeon who was smart enough to order XRays and an MRI I finally had a diagnosis. Now 9 painful months later I am having the first of three meniscus tears repaired on Monday April 22. I consider Dr Glasgow an utter failure in my painful case. I have told the referring physician that perhaps he should not use Glasgow when referring a patient. Patient beware!!

I went to Dr. Glashow for a second opinion after a different doctor recommended surgery for a ""cartilage defect"" in my knee. But Dr. G explained why nothing was wrong, and was adamant I only needed physical therapy. Well he was absolutely right. Turns out a decade of sitting at a desk atrophied my supporting muscles, yikes. Now almost two years later I'm back to lifting and kickboxing again. Thank you.

I had major shoulder repair in 2013. The surgery was a great success, shoulder is strong, great range of motion to this day. My injury was covered by Workmans comp. insurance , very tricky to navigate. But the staff took care of everything, including all hospital dealings. I recommend Dr. Glashow, and his practice.

Dr. Glashow and his staff were tremendously helpful and caring. As a medical student who suffered a significant injury I was turned away by numerous physicians due to my insurance issues. Dr. Glashow and Helen came to my rescue. The level of compassion Helen and Dr. Glashow demonstrated was incredible. Furthermore, Helen went beyond just the appointment to ensure I received the treatment I needed. I would recommend Dr. Glashow & his staff to anyone seeking a genuine orthopedist.

Dr. Glashow is a saint. Saved me in the biggest emergency Ive had in some time. Had a very bad fall on my knee a few days ago and he was even prompt enough to connect with me over the phone on a SATURDAY to get me into his office when I couldnt reach ANYONE else. Got me the MRI results I needed and was even gracious enough to provide me with a sleeve for walking around while I was on vacation. Thankful that there are people in this world like Dr. Glashow- 10/10 amazing doctor even better person!

I was left waiting over 40 minutes for the doctor to see me with barely an apology, as though my time is not valuable. He did a brief survey of my hands, wrists and elbows and prescribed an x-ray for one elbow. When I inquired about getting an x-ray of the other elbow, he was dismissive. The results of the first x-ray indicated a broken elbow. Ultimately, I went to another doctor. My other elbow was broken, too. How could he miss a broken elbow? I was not impressed. Will not go back.

Having had, unfortunately, a number of surgical experiences I can attest that small things matter. The staff on the day of surgery were all reassuring, serene and welcoming, which is not often the case. Prior to the surgery I did not feel pressured into committing -- I was given full information and assured that I could consider my options, and that repeated review of options was fine. Post-surgery, the staff were completely attentive and supportive. After dedicated PT, surgery 100% successful

My son tore his ACL in June of 2016, we were referred to Dr Glashow after I was not happy with the first doctor we saw. As soon as we met Dr Glashow and his staff I knew this iwas whom I wanted for my son. We had surgery on June 28th 2016 and my son was cleared 8 months out. The feedback we heard from my sons physical therapist and other friends we knew whom had the surgery ( not with Dr Glashow) I knew we had not only made the right decision but we clearly had chosen The BEST doctor.

I had a massive rotator cuff tear as a result of an accident. Chose dr Glashow based on write ups and initial office interactions and availability. My experience was excellent albeit recovery after surgery was slow and took a lot of effort and energy to get back to normality. But I feel fortunate that I had excellent surgeon and all associated care that dr Glashow 's office provided

Dr Glashow told me I needed an operation as soon as possible for a torn meniscus based on an MRI. I went for a second opinion who said that the MRI was unreadable as it had been done in a facility specialized in cardiovascular issues. Once the MRI was redone, he told me it was a sprain and gave me Aleve. A week later, I was cured... If you're going to see Dr. Glashow, I would suggest getting a second opinion.

Dr Glashow is one of the most pompous and arrogant men I have ever met. He liked to use the phrase "I'm wasting your time" which really means you're wasting his. Surgery isn't a big deal, because he does it every Tues and Thurs. He said 6-10 weeks recovery but wouldn't even listen when I had consistent swelling after walking at 13 weeks. Worse of all, I had a GI issue I disclosed on pre-op screening he didn't read until 5 minutes prior, then scared my wife with uninformed course of actions.
