Right guy for the job
He was personable and knowledgeable. He managed to be confident without being arrogant. He explained things well and so far my shoulder surgery and recovery have been smooth with minimal pain.

Not up on latest lit.Scheduled unnecessary surgery
Dr. Fallon was flippant with questions like 'Do you want to fix it or not fix it?' Any patient would say 'fix it.' He followed up by explaining that 200 years ago no one would get a bone break like this fixed, and they moved on with whatever functionality and pain they had. Not wanting to take that approach, I agreed to the surgery he recommended, and asked if he could do it arthroscopically. He said no. After leaving the office I realized I didn't trust him. Went to Boston and found out that surgery was not indicated for my break, that I was in great shape and didn't need it and that the damage and risks from surgery were much greater than anything I faced from just healing on my own (and that all the literature backed this up for my particular condition). In addition, if things had been different & I needed surgery they would have done it arthroscopically, not open surgery, for much quicker healing. In would never go see Dr. Fallon again, and cannot recommend him as a surgeon.

Had a highly successful outcome from knee surgery five years ago. Dr. Fallon listens carefully, he's personable and, most importantly, a really good surgeon.

Dr. Fallon took time to listen and respond to our questions and concerns about the traumatic fracture of my left humerus. My adult daughter and I did not feel rushed or pressured. When she and I had decided from the three options he presented, he scheduled the surgery for the very next afternoon, after his other surgeries (probably much later in the day than he would normally be at CDH).

I went where I was looking for a solution and it came out worse and what annoyed me the most is not responsible for my error in my hip

I separated my bicep muscle in June 2016. The most excruciating experience of my life. Dr Fallon described the surgical procedure for repairing my arm in specific detail with great enthusiasm about the positive outcome. A somewhat common procedure, he talked me through each step from surgery to recovery. It took 4 months but I have 100% mobility in my arm and shoulder. Without would have been 40%. I can't stress enough how greatfull I am for his kindness and expertise.
