Dr. Jonathan Danoff, MD

Had a MAKO knee replacement done by Dr. Danoff at North Shore Hospital. Very caring and considerate care. I am 4 weeks post surgery. Had bad knees for years. Looking forward to experiencing walking without pain. Recommend this Doctor highly. I had a previous surgery 10 months ago, and I asked that surgeon, ' If you or a family member needed a knee surgery, who would you use ?', and his immediate reply was Dr Jonathan Danoff. I did have to wait 3 months to get on to his surgical schedule, but that just shows how much in demand he is.

It’ll take you hours to get seen or they will cancel your appointment without telling you. Don’t waste your time. There are better places to go

Dr Danoff was my surgeon for a hip replacement.I recovered very quickly & had minor discomfort. I would recommend Dr Danoff if you're ready to have hip surgery & you want the best doctor!

I had a total hip replacement at Northwell in September, and I'm happy to say that my experience with Dr Danoff and his team was wholly positive. The preoperative process was informative and reassuring, the procedure itself went smoothly and efficiently, and post-op rehabilitation has been easier than I'd expected. Throughout, I've felt very well cared for, by Dr Danoff himself as well as his impressive team of physicians, PAs and RNs. I'm very happy with my recovery so far, and would definitely recommend Dr. Danoff to anyone needing hip or knee surgery.

Everything Dr. Danoff said is exactly how it turned out. Went home that day, walking with a cane in 2 days, no cane in 2.5 weeks. After a few months felt fully recovered. No limp and walking 25 to 35 miles a week. I recommend anyone seeking a hip replacement to meet Dr. Danoff

I am about 4 months post op hip replacement surgery, and I'm doing very well! Dr. Danoff is a phenomenal surgeon, and his TEAM and office staff are skilled professionals who actually care about their patients! They responded in a very timely manner whenever I had a question and/or request both before and after surgery. Not having had surgery for 25+ years, everyone involved made me feel comfortable and relaxed about the upcoming surgery and also that I had made the right decision in selecting Dr. Danoff and his TEAM to perform my procedure!

Not only is Doctor Danoff brilliant and an amazing surgeon he has terrific bedside manner. I think he is a wizard. I have never felt better and I had total hip replacement. I'm actually horseback riding again

Dr Danoff was great as was his whole team. Surgery went off like clockwork and I was in and out of the hospital in 20 hours which is unbelievable for a total knee replacement

Dr Danoff was responsive to my questions and concerns. The procedure went well and seems successful so far. Recovery was as expected and without any major issues.

Everyone is friendly and efficient. Dr Danoff did an excellent job on my knee and the Force was a great tool and very helpful.

Top drawer! Addressed my fears. Educated me. Made it possible for me to go ahead with the surgery which turned out to be the best thing for me to do.

Caring and excellent surgeon. When and if I need the other hip replaced I will return for another anterior approach replacement.
