Disinterested
After a 30-minute wait to be seen (the office is ALWAYS over-crowded and overbooked) and after a very thorough hour spent with various assistants taking information and performing tests, I finally saw Dr. Crews. He spent about 5 minutes with me. His attitude is what I would call chilly. Maybe he was behind schedule and rushed, maybe the clinic needs to hire more doctors, but the impression he left was of someone basically disinterested. He said I needed cataract surgery, but when I tried to ask a question, he simply said to ask the assistants. Then he left. His “bedside manner” skills certainly need work. I don’t expect chattiness from a doctor, and I like an efficient professional, but no, this felt abrupt. Maybe it was an off-day for him…? Not sure.

Dr Crews has been late to see me all of the 3 times I have been to the office. The usual wait for him is 30 minutes after the technician has checked me. Doesn't appear to be especially interested in me as a patient. I have glaucoma in the left eye. I will probably stay with Dr Crews for a while.
