ZERO stars!
Telehealth
I would rate him ZERO stars if I could. I reached out in hopes of stopping a medication but couldn't get in with my regular psychiatrist and he was the next available with many open availabilities, and I now understand why. Not only was he not personable, but he was also rude, would cut me off and I didn't feel like he was listening. He discredited my diagnosis that I received 5 years ago and told me I had a personality disorder. He acted like he had absolutely no time for me or to listen to me. Our appointment was supposed to be 45 minutes and it wasn't even 20 because he went through the questions so fast without elaborating anything. He tried to discredit people who have treated me before and told me false information about my current medications. He was very quick to end the call and then told me I should see someone in person. Is that not the whole point of telehealth though? To not see someone in person?? If you care about yourself or your loved ones, you will not see this man.

Unprofessional
Telehealth
Waited on telehealth for half an hour just for him to not show up to the meeting. From what I can tell from other reviews, this may be a blessing in disguise as the general consensus is that this guy sucks.

He’s on Dr. On Demand as well, and just like all of these other people. I had a terrible and triggering experience. I tried to explain my state of grief and see if there was medication that helps during these life changes. He wouldn’t even let me finish speaking before he diagnosed me with a personality disorder and explained that how I was feeling was very common for those disorders. Even when I said I don’t feel like this all the time it’s just because -cut me off again and said that they can come in waves and it would be helpful for me to nail down the pattern. He never let me say my brother died in a tragic accident. He actually told me grief wasn’t the right word. Triggered. Imagine having someone mansplain word definitions to you while trying to get help.

I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Johnathon Coker, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. In my opinion, he may not be the ideal choice for practicing medicine, particularly specializing in psychiatry. I observed a lack of bedside manner and patience, especially when dealing with individuals facing mental health challenges. This aspect of his practice left much to be desired, and I believe it's essential for potential patients to be aware of these considerations before seeking his services.

No bedside manners, tried to prescribe me SSRIs that interacted with each other, and was rude and told me I needed to check myself into an inpatient clinic when all I was asking for was a different medication that wouldn’t cause me to gain weight

Horrible
He spent little time with me and still caused me to go into a full crisis spiral. Thankfully I have a great support system. At the end, I accept what he was attempting to explain to me; however, he needs to learn to better communicate with patients and show more sympathy or at least learn how to act sincerely. He had judged me before he met me and just dismissed me like I was nothing.
