Dr. Jonathan Cluett, MD

Dr. Cluett is a great doctor, friendly, thoughtful and kind. I first visited him at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton, and more recently at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. He'll be doing my knee replacement surgery this spring.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Cluett! As a personal trainer who asks a lot of her body every day, I was completely freaked out to learn that I needed a total knee replacement, and I had high expectations for recovery. Dr. Cluett did a great job on my knee, but it was his kind and genuine manner that really impressed me! It was particularly impressive considering I cursed at him during my first appointment. ("There is no F**king way I can take time off for a F**king knee replacement right now!!) Over the past year, he has patiently answered every question, even the angry and/or teary ones, and continually encouraged me when I was struggling. An athlete himself, he understood my frustration when "normal" wasn't yet MY normal. I'm happy to say that I've now taken my new knee rock climbing, cycling, and even snowboarding, and I look forward to many more athletic adventures. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Cluett, and I would recommend him without reservation!

Dr. Cluett has performed needle aponeurotomy for dupuytrens contracture of my hands a number of times. The results have been amazing with little discomfort and recovery virtually the next day. I can't say enough about Dr. Cluett's competence, professionalism and overall care and you always get his full interest and attention.

Dr. Cluett has taken care of many members of my family and friends. When I was having knee problems I turned to him and he performed a knee replacement surgery. He was caring and kind from my first visit. The surgery went well, and I was back to a very active life quickly (including skiing). I can't recommend him more highly--we are lucky he is here in the Berkshires!

I was in considerable pain, limping and no longer able to play golf. Until, that is, I was referred to Jonathan Cluett, MD. He utilized a modern robotic aided surgical procedure to complete a total anterior hip replacement on me. He was so proficient that I experienced minimal discomfort post-surgery. I required NO opiate pain reliever, only Tylenol. Two weeks post surgery and I'm walking normally with zero pain. Better yet, I'm already chipping and putting! I'm very pleased.

As someone who is practically allergic to surgical procedures, I can honestly say that Dr. Cluett is the most reassuring surgeon I can imagine meeting. He is extremely focussed and direct; he doesn't mince words and he doesn't waste time. He's not a chatty fellow but his manner is gentle, and he radiates competence and personal physical health. He replaced both my knees - I had no followup problems - and from my perspective, medical attention and surgical skill don't get better than this.
