Dr. Chu will be sadly missed from Wellspan patients. His knowledge, and personality, as well as his professional experience in pain management has seen me through many a painful day/night. Thank you Dr. Chu for your great help over the past few years. You surely will be missed. Stay safe.

I have been dealing w/low back injury problems for 18 yrs. and had multiple surgeries, Neuro Stimulator implant, and pain infusion pump implant. I developed complication spinal leak from pump implant surgery and no one @Wellspan Neuro surgery was helping my situation until Dr. Chu recognized symptoms and helped direct me to another medical facility for treatment. He shows honest commitment to assist/help patients with their pain treatment. He has also helped my hip pain with injections. I would recommend Dr. Chu for pain treatment. John S. I have degenerative discs in my lower back which caused various levels of pain for 20 years. Epidurals controlled the pain quite well until several years ago when then stopped working. My current doctor suggested Dr. Chu after diet, physical therapy etc. were tried with no results. I met Dr. Chu and discussed the situation and he suggested we try again with epidurals. It was much less painful than my previous ones and provided a significant improvement. I highly recommend him.

I personally had an excellent result from Dr Chu for diagnosis and treatment for back pain. Dr Chu determined that I had pain from several fasciae joints and performed a radio frequency neuroablation on 10/13/2018. I experienced immediate and complete pain relief after the procedure. I found Dr Chu to be very personable and engaging with both patients and staff. He has a wealth of information and experience in pain management, and takes the time to explain and field questions.

I was pleased that dr chu not only heard me but listened. He was not the type to come in the room and say this is what we're going to do...he sought my input. the one procedure of injections was handled professionally and compassionately....will recommend and return

Dr. Chu addressed my chronic backache by performing a successful radio frequency oblation to the lower lumber region, L4 and L5 as the target. I am now 90% free from any discomfort in the lumbar area. I have had chronic backache for years. I highly recommend Dr. Chu for his professional and thorough approach to treatment. I have the most upmost confidence in his approach to care.

Dr. Chu is one fantastic physician! He is very skilled and determined to help the patient to resolve their pain. He also offered alternatives to treatments if one treatment doesn't work. In other words, he is determined to find the best treatment possible for each patient. Unlike other physicians I had been to, he did a physical exam to see exactly where the pain was. His bedside manner is exceptional. As a registered nurse, I would highly recommend this physician to anyone experiencing pain.

I've suffered a long time with deep burning, at times debilitating, neck pain. Nothing seemed to help. Dr. Chu was great with explaining my condition and recommended a spinal epidural injection. He explained the procedure well and made me feel comfortable. At a month post injection, my pain level is barely a 2! What a relief!! I will definitely contact Dr. Chu if I have any pain management needs in the future.

My experience has been phenomenal. I experienced excruciating pain in my lower back for over 4 years. I had severe spinal stenosis which led to surgery. I was left with severe pain which I tried different doctors and all kinds of medications and various treatments with no relief. Finally I was referred to pain management with my doctor being Dr Chu. It has been great, and I feel better than I have in 4 years. I would absolutely recommend Dr Chi to anyone looking for help in dealing with pain!!!!
