Dr. Jonathan Bielfield, DO

I have gone through numerous dermatologists trying to get my eczema under control. After one appointment with Dr. Bielfield I had the medication I needed, and two weeks later I started treatment. He walked through the process with me, was understanding, listened, and made jokes to make me more comfortable. Even offered me water and a snack.

Dr. Bielfield made me feel comfortable & made sure I understood everything during all of our appointments. I felt confident I was in great hands, and it was true. Thank you!

It was my first time in the office, and I needed to get in immediately for treatment of a painful condition. They were so accommodating. They gave clear explanations, treated me same-day, and were so positive throughout. It made such a huge difference.

I've been a long time patient here, and while I loved Dr. Zimmet, Dr. Bielfield has changed my life. He is a great doctor, and beyond attentive and caring for his patients. My first time seeing him, he helped me solve my acne issue, and I haven't looked back since. Not only is Dr. Bielfield great, but the entire staff is awesome. I always look forward to seeing Lydia. She is beyond sweet, and always leaves me feeling better than when I came in.

I was a long time patient of Dr. Zimmet. When the group changed hands and became Austin Dermatology & Vein I decided to give it a shot...I was a little reticent and nervous. I had no need to be. My beloved Grazyna was still working the front desk and Dr. Bielfield was amazing. He listened to my needs, gave wonderful suggestions, didn't push products that I didn't request and was overall a consummate profession. I recommend %100!

Came in to have some skin tags removed and he discovered some precancerous lesions that were removed. He did a complete skin exam, which I really didn't want, but am glad he performed. Highly recommended.

Main issue is with the clinic. They NEVER answer phone calls directly. When you do leave a message it isn’t listened to with any care. I routinely had to point out that I had already left information requested in voicemails. Dr seemed to have exaggerated responses to blood work values (as confirmed by two other physicians) and ordered expensive and wasteful tests costing me a great deal of money. Staff or Dr would forget what medications you were currently taking. Look elsewhere.

Money, Money, Money! It seems like all this clinic is interested in. The reception staff and medical assistant were GREAT--couldn't have been nicer! However, I felt like I was an inconvenience to Dr. Jonathan Bielfield. On the clinic's website, in the "about us" portion, Dr. Bielfield's profile says he "Strives to develop personal connections with his patients, and wants his patients to feel comfortable and confident with their medical care". Sorry Dr. Bielfield. I felt neither.
