Saved my life!
I visited the ER in Milton with chest pain and sob. The waiting room was a mob scene, so much so that escorts were told to wait in their cars. I was waiting for nearly 2 hours to be triaged, as the staff was flat out. I was seated on the floor and began to slump over when Dr. Anderson just happened to pass by. He ordered my triage stat, an EKG, blood, a CT scan and started me on IV meds. I was in heart failure, in critical condition. There's no cath lab un Milton, so Dr. Anderson had to think and act quickly. He used his personal cell phone to page the cath lab in Boston and ordered an ambulance. He never left my side for the 30 minutes when I was there. He explained everything that would happen, and he listened to some critical info I needed to tell him about (drug allergies). Had this man not stopped and looked at me, and had he not made instant executive decisions, I would not be here today. I was only given a 20% chance of surviving by Boston docs, and they pulled me through.

Knowledgeable, generous and empathetic
Dr. Anderson was incredible - my mother came in with a knee injury. He was patient thoughtful, addressed our questions; he was thoughtful in his response and brought some levity when she was hurt and scared.
