Not idea why he still employed by Corewell
I suffered from multiple health issues and have been at this hospital multiple times. Only bad experience is the 2 visits that I was attended by this individual who said he is a doctor. He is rude, showed not empathy, not even desire to help. He didn’t evaluate the affected area at all and labeled the condition as “chronic” and proceed to say Corewell Hospital do not treat chronic conditions. All of this after waiting in the waiting room for more than 3 hours. Very exhausting and uncomfortable experience.

An Obscene Absence of Listening Skills
This is a 2nd experience with this D.O. emergency room staff member. He failed ro diagnose shingles several years ago resulting in an extremely painful recovery. He doesn’t listen and he shows absolutely zero interest in a patient’s complex medical history. His arrogance and disrespect have no boundaries. It is concerning that he continues to staff the ER at Beaumont and provides incompetent medical care.He tested for intestinal bleeding and performed an unnecessary procedure that tore the anus, creating more bleeding. It is important that the administration of the hospital monitor his practice in the emergency room to prevent the future harm for patients and to be concerned about staffing a person with questionable medical competence and a lack of patient care.

Cocky, rude
I went in for a CT scan, he ordered a pile of heart rubbish, I refused. Then he threatened me with refusing treatment etc etc. They need to axe this joker, toxic with a god complex.

I have been to the ED at GP Beaumont a few times for a complicated chronic condition. Dr. Spyridakis was one of the few ED doctors who has treated me with gentleness and respect. I am surprised to read any negative comments. He is one of the few doctors I feel safe with. I looked up his name because I have been praying for him and his colleagues during the pandemic. He will always have my gratitude and respect.

If I can leave 0 stars, I’d do it . Very rude and condescending! Worst bedside manner of all. It would be at least a consolation if this was a smart doctor who treat patients but was just stand offish. This was probably the worst doctor

Showed complete lack of empathy during my emergency room visit. I had prior back surgery for a herniated disc and was experiencing a recurrence. I was in need of an MRI and he refused to give me one. Instead giving me a cat scan that does not show enough imaging to properly diagnose my injury. I could barely walk and Jon treated me like i was a nobody. Like I didn’t deserve treatment. I’ve never been this let down by a doctor in my life. This man should not be allowed to practice Medicine anywhere. He refused to treat me and 9 days later when I finally talked to my prior surgeon l, his first question to me was “ why the cat scan , and why were you givin a MRI “.. I told him my story and he had to thoroughly apologize for the treatment I received or the lack there of from Dr. Spyridakis. If you have encounter Spyridakis for treatment please do yourself a favor and demand another Dr.

He is condescending and rude. He brushed us off in the emergency room and was insulting to my mother who was the patient. He should have his medical license suspended.
