Dr. Jon Peters, MD

Horrid. Final worst part was made a telehealth appointment, they did not keep it and I sat next to phone for 45 minutes, called them, they were out to lunch, called again and were told no telehealth and blamed me for not showing up and sent huge "fine". They should pay me for the hour and a half I wasted waiting and then trying to connect with them. Appointment was to go over various tests, simple review, had two office visits with long drive, so no need to repeat.

For five days I tried to get through to his office. It was an automated get in a kind and then leave a message, No returned calls. He recently sold his practice so that ay be part of the problem

Staff was friendly and helpful. Met with Dr. Peters promptly after arriving on time. Left with a diagnosis and medication that has helped me.

Three years I have been struggling with migraines and the side effects from migraines. I have even taken the injections for migraines (neither worked)! Yes, Dr. Peters does listen the the beginning. After, three years he still doesn’t have an answer for me. My situation is no different than an NFL player. Everyone heals differently!! When you have completed everything he ask of you and nothing has worked!! I feel he is looking at the statistics of what he has learned over the years BUT Dr. Peters plz put your pride and ego aside and listen to me. Thank YOU

Dr. Jon Peters is one of the best doctors that I have ever had in my 60 plus years. He listens carefully and thoughtfully responds to my questions. If he does not have an answer for me then he points me to the surgeon for answers. He encourages me not to be afraid to take control of my healthcare. What I like most about Dr. Peters is his open dialog.

This practice has very accomplished doctors who consistently provide outstanding care. I really appreciate the relaxed manner of my appointments. They are never rushed. Like many folks, I have a chronic condition that is difficult to treat and has evolved over time. Thankfully, the docs in this practice are tireless in finding the best treatment regimen for me. They are well read on both current and emerging treatment modalities. Their willingness to try different approaches as necessary has dramatically improved my quality of life. I have seen Doctor Peters & company for over 20 years and I recommend this practice without reservation.

My husband and I had a great first visit with Dr. Peters. We felt that he listened to us and was willing to help and not just rush us through. His staff was very kind and made us feel welcomed.

Initial meeting with Doctor Peters was interrupted by his cell phone, and him cutting the appointment off since someone showed up at the office that was more important than me, I guess. He wrote me orders for an EEG and an MRI. I got the EEG, and the technician was very unpleasant to a point that I took the stairs the next time I came in since he was going to the elevator. I got the MRI, completed and when I went to deliver the results to the office, I learned that Dr Peters also wanted me to have a transcranial ultrasound, which I was not aware of since it was not ordered during the rushed first appointment, so I scheduled that. The ultrasound went great, except for seeing the EEG tech and getting a scowl pointed at me. After all my testing was completed and I waited another month to get an appointment with Dr Peters to review the results, I learn that Dr Peters had to leave the office for an emergency so I could not see him. I have been seeing Dr Peters for over three years now and he is attentive and empathetic and listens to me. His office staff is great and I even have great experiences when I see his NP.

Appreciate the professionalism

I've been seeing Neurologists since 2004 and Dr. Peters is by far the best! He listened to me. He noted my symptoms. He reviewed my records before determining my problem and offering possible solutions. I highly recommend him to anyone suffering from head, neck, and/or nerve pain.

I had a recent appointment with Dr Peters at his new office in the Reston Hospital complex. The office is beautiful and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I was seen promptly at my appointment time. However, if I had not , I would not have minded waiting because Dr Peters is such an understanding and empathetic doctor. I have more than one concerning issue which he addressed and explained his treatment plan to me. Following my appointment, his staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful getting my tests arranged for me. I left the office feeling that everything was in order and that I was in competent and caring hands. Please don't hesitate to give this office a try.

Moderate head injury w/concussion, body shaking, loss of balance and headaches.

Dr. Peters was so patient and helpful in addressing my son's post-concussion syndrome. He took time to ask questions and actually listened. The office staff is very competent, patient, and friendly.

The staff and doctors are very friendly and attentive. Prompt filling refill requests. Responsive on their phone line.

I have been seeing Dr. Peters for about two months now. I am very satisfied with his treatment plan as well as the service of his medical and administrative team. They have always been responsive to my phone calls for scheduling and medical questions. I like that I do not have long periods between my visits with Dr. Peters.
