Dr. Jon Garwood Traxler, MD

I have been going to Dr. Traxler for years and all I have to say about him is he is the best! He listens, he explains in detail and doesn’t rush through the appointment. I trust his judgment, his knowledge and his treatment plan for me. He’s my favorite doctor!

I went to my visit with Dr. Traxler today with an extremely sore throat. I am immune suppressed and asked the nurse if Dr Traxler and she could wear mask when I took mine off to be examined especially since the room was the size of a closet. She left the room and came back with the reply that they didn't have any mask. This is a very large medical faculty that they are located in with a pharmacy on the same floor and no mask ? I noticed other patients with health issues wearing mask in the waiting room and feel sorry that they are not respected enough to be treated in a safe manner. As for me I walked out. I realize we are out of the pandemic but covid , RSV , flu are still around and can be deadly for some of us.

Dr. Traxler is a great listener. He explains everything in detail. I have seen him several times and he has helped me understand my issues. Top Notch doctor!

Careful listener. Explores etiologies of problems

Being new to town, I asked two new friends when I needed an ENT suddenly. Both recommended doctors in this practice and Dr. Traxler was able to see me. He was warm and friendly with a nice sense of humor. The office was very friendly and kind but efficient. Wait times minimal. Dr. Traxler and surgery staff were excellent and kept me well-informed. I’ve worked in administration in two great hospital systems in NC and this is the place to be if you need an ENT. They do everything from routine to surgical. You don’t have to go elsewhere for tests. I highly recommend Dr. Traxler.

I need a visit asap as I was leaving to go Scuba Diving in 12 days and was having ear and throat issues from a bad cough. He saw in the next day and gave me an aggressive treatment to resolve the issues so that my trip was not impacted. His treatment worked and I am headed out on vacation. Would recommend him highly
