Dr. Eichelberger is a rare doctor who listens to his patients, and took an "out of the box" approach to my care.

Dr. Eichelberger was very rude and condescending with me. I was struggling with a condition and maybe I didn’t make complete sense to him at first. He didn’t try to get clarity and understand what I was trying to say. He seemed to decide that I was just wasting his time. His answers to my questions made me feel stupid. After a few minutes of this treatment, I reacted with anger. He started YELLING and stormed out! It was traumatizing and it took me quite a while to get over the experience. Do you like being a doctor, Jon?

COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME, OVER 25 MIN LATE. I SPENT THAT TIME DETAILING TO HIS ASST EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED TO SAVE US BOTH TIME. HE DID NOT HAVE ANY OF THAT INFORMATION, COULD CARE LESS. DID NOT ASK QUESTIONS. HE DICTATED. HE HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I TRIED TO EXPLAIN WHAT I WANTED!

Dangerous
He spent the appointments talking about himself (after being considerably late), and did a minimal exam. He asked questions, but then didn't wait for answers and discounted those I was able to squeeze in. He seemed to have contempt for patients, and ended up misdiagnosing a serious illness that landed me in an emergency.

A good doctor!
I have seen Dr. Eighelberger a few times in the last 2 years, and I have never felt rushed. He was concerned about my overall health and listened to my issues and took time to answer questions. I would recommend him without a second thought.

Dr. Jon Eichelberger is NOT recommended by me. I had many health problems-essential hypertension (varied from 210/80-148/80), Graves Disease, High Cholesterol, etc. He was my MD for 3 years and never tried to change my meds to help bring down my blood pressure. I experienced tingling in my lower extremities and his comment was "you are just getting old & that happens." After 7months later with the unexplained tingling, I had a stroke. I wished he cared enough to refer me to another MD or specialist, but he chose not to listen to me. This MD should retire as he truly doesn't care about his patients. He was a total waste of time & his bedside manners were a joke. Sad to have met him.
