Calling him a medical 'professional' is a STRETCH
I have multiple chronic health conditions but saw this Dr in the ER in Tehachapi for Covid. He interrupted me answering his questions mutiple times. Called me a drug user because of the CBD I take for my wrecked back, (I'm disabled & have chronic pain). I went in because of erratic & concerningly low spO2 readings; he said that doesn't matter, I'd be unconscious if it was right, my partner pointed out I DID pass out, which he ignored. He ignored my autonomic dysfunction concerns, despite them being related to my chronic conditions AND Covid. NOBODY in the ER had masks on, despite knowing that both my partner & myself HAVE COVID. His overall attitude was that I was wasting his time. He made comments that were judgy & in poor taste when I introduced my partner as such. He needs to be fired or maybe go work in a morgue.

Avoid when possible!!
Saw Dr. Barbosa in emergency room for five or six minutes. He was rude, sharp mannered. As a veteran, my visit to the RMCH emergency room was authorized by the VA and now Dr. Barbosa is trying to collect $1445.00 from me. What a scam.

I was seen in the ER by Dr. Barbosa & he walked into the room, sat down crossed his arms then asked me 1 question& as I was answering, he interrupted me & continued to talk over me & as he was walking out of the room he said just follow up with your primary care dr. He was in the room for a whole 2 mins. I was in shock. He was arrogant, rude, didn't listen at all, didn't help me whatsoever & clearly didn't care. This doctor should not be treating patients ever. This was the worst encounter with a doctor that I've ever experienced.

The doctor is rude he has poor listening skills and is not helpful in explaining in detail at all. He seems like he doesn't care and doesn't want to help. I'm very disappointed in the experience at Deaconess.
