Dr. Johnathan Goree, MD

I’m a cancer survivor, multiple surgery, chronic pain patient. After 8 years of being in pain EVERY DAY, I finally found Dr. Goree. This man listened to all of my concerns, discussed and educated me on my options and his suggestions for treatment, and then he changed my life. In less than a month I’ve gone from being bedridden to little to no pain at all. No, he will not push pills, he treats the source of your pain instead. That is the difference. Pain medication masks pain, and in some cases that’s all that can be done, but if you REALLY want relief treating the source of your pain is the answer and that’s what Dr. Goree will provide. Plus, he has a wonderful bedside manner. He remembers his patients from sight, you’ll never feel like just a number. I cannot say enough about the amazing doctor and how he has saved my life. I was ready to give up when I came to him; he brought me back from the ledge.

Dr.Goree has been doing my back injections since arriving at UAMS. He’s very tedious with his work making sure of his perfection.

Went here to get some lumbar spinal injections, I've had multiple injections at other well established facilities and uams is the only place that don't provide consisious sedation (calming iv meds)so I don't shake and jerk with a needle in my spine.Last time there it made the pain worse because of how the procedure was preformed.The neurosurgeon I use now has over 20 yrs exp and does spinal injections right that provide weeks of moderate relief and provide meds to pain patients who need it.
