Dr. John White Jr, MD

Always left waiting in the cold exam room. Always seemed to be in a rush. Never really felt like he was giving his full attention to his patient. In 2019 I was diagnosed with Stage 1A Granulosa Cell Ovarian Cancer. There was a cantaloupe size mass on my right ovary and 2 gallons of fluid in my abdomen. It was found by St Elizabeth Hospital, which I am now a forever cancer patient of. They saved my life. Ovarian Cancer is no joke and most of the time is a silent killer. I went to regular yearly gyno appointments and Dr White never felt the tumor when "palpitating my ovaries". That mass did not just spring up in one year's time. To be as large as it was. It had to have been there for a while. Years perhaps.

He removed a BC implant right after numbing injection with no time for it to take effect, even though it was specifically asked to wait a few min as it didn't feel numb. Then he would not listen about what pill was being requested and insisted on prescribing something different even though the other one was known to have worked. Does NOT listen to patients. Will not recommend or see again.

Dr White was so great when delivering my baby. My baby was turned the wrong way and he ended up having to use forceps to deliver. I was very nervous but he was so calm and made me feel at ease. He delivered my baby and you could barely tell that forceps were used at all. He is very knowledgeable and I am so glad he was the one to deliver my child. I would definitely recommend Dr. White he is awesome!!

Yesterday I had a procedure and Dr. White was so personable. He made the whole situation a lot easier. Very professional, informative & great personality. Thank you

I've been going here for the past five years before I realized this place is a joke. The nurses badmouth the doctors to you (even though nothing they said is wrong.) I sit in my visits for thirty min before he strolls in and spends 15 min with me tops, even when I have PAP's. Might as well never ask about answers about your test results, you won't get an answer regardless. I've been told infections were "eh, probably a change in diet" with no further investigation. This place is a big ole JOKE.

Dr. White is very knowledgeable about many issues not only in his specific field but also knows when to clue in on other issues. He suspected a possible thyroid issue with me which no other doctor thought of researching. He was correct and therefore I was able to get that under control. Dr. White has many times guided me in the right direction in taking care of specific women's health issues. He is a great listener and I feel very confident trusting his diagnosis and treatment.

Poor bedside manner, short responses when educated questions asked, late for appointments (first appointment of the day). Other physicians in this group are wonderful, would not recommend Dr. White.
