Dr. John Webb, MD

Dr. Webb recently treated me for perforated diverticulitis that he found in an X-ray following an auto accident. He inspired me to take better care of my body and to be a bit more careful in life. I’m 69 years old and overall pretty healthy and active. Webb and his team restored my health and were, start to finish, among the most accommodating, professional, talented and caring group of caregivers I’ve encountered. I’ve always been treated like a special person by folks at CHI St. Vincent - but so have you!

If your looking for a qualified and excellent surgeon, then Dr. Webb is the one to see for your care. He is direct and makes no pretense about being your best buddy, but he will be your strongest advocate should you have any issue.

I felt completely comfortable with dr Webb. He was very caring. My surgery went well. He did a good job. I would recommend him to anyone.

He has no sense of bedside manner. He yelled at me and barely even examined me. When I started to cry he tried to call security and say I was violent. I asked him to leave the room so I could put my shirt back on and leave peacefully. he came back into the room without knocking when I was undressing to tell at me some more

Dr. Webb is the most trust worthy Dr. I know. He listens, very caring, trusting, and loyal to his patients. If you have a problem he is there to walk you through it. Great man and excellent surgeon. I recommend him highly.

I had such a terrible experience at the CHI Emergency room with Doctor Hess. I was later sent to Doctor Webb. He showed me that He was concerned for me and my family. I loved his bedside conversation . He will never know how much he helped me throu a bad situation. He will be the only Doctor for me and my family for General Surgery. Very rude, argumentative, abrupt describes Dr Webb. He has all the answers, makes a lot of assumptions and knows more than all my specialty doctors based on his opinion of himself. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Our first experience with Dr. Webb reminded us of our primary healthcare provider (to which we love and are very sorry to lose him due to retirement). Both have an personna of gruffness and yes their bedside manners could definitely use some attention. However, make no mistake - Both are great doctors and we would trust our lives to them. We don't see a physician based on how well we "like" them. We use them because they are excellent at what they do.

Dr Webb is a man who thinks anyone who isnt him is beneath him. No bedside manner and a true piece of work. The staff is great but Dr Webb spoke to a 72 year old woman like trash. So sad and makes you even less of a man and less of a doctor. Its great you went to school forever to become a surgeon but where is the school to make you a human being? Cant learn that. Be ashamed of yourself, Karma is awful and so is this review for an awful man.

Dr. Webb is by far the best doctor I've ever come across. I've spent this whole year getting turned down by so many people, getting pushed around with no answers. I started seeing him in October. He took one look at me and knew what disease I had. Which is so impressive considering this disease isn't taught in med school & is very rare! He is so talented, brilliant, can empathize with a patient, & has a strong presence when he walks in a room. I wish more doctors could be half as good as he is.

If you need to have surgery, Dr. John Webb is the best surgeon to go to. I had to have my thyroid removed and he did an excellent job. Hardly even a scar and I haven't had any pain. Great with his patients. He explained everythin me to where I could understand what was going to be done.

Just highly recommended Dr. Webb to a lady last night , looking for a surgeon. Told her there was none better. Judy Rone
