Dr. John Villa, DO

My last visit I was doing a follow up appointment. Doctor Villa helped me through a very serious lung condition 15 years ago (2009). Under his care I am able to manage my lungs disease. My last visit Doctor Villa said that my condition is stable and that I should follow every 6 months. Through the years Doctor Villa has advised me and I have learned about my condition and how to management. At his advice I lost weight and I am able to do more than I have done since my surgery 15 years ago. Doctor Villa has an incredible reputation amongst his peers. I am very happy I Doctor Villa is my physician. He also helped me through Sleep Apnea. I don't need the CPAP machine. As advised I was finally able to quit smoking.

Resurrection would define my experience with Dr. John Villa.He is a gifted physician and a compassionate human being . Dr Villa orchestrated a team that miraculously rescued me from the death grip of double pneumonia , and if that was not enough, convinced me to stay put and not go to rehabilitation until well enough. Had I not heeded his advice, blood clots that followed may have taken the life that the team so diligently worked to saveDr. Villa is my hero.

Did not appreciate this drs far from kindly bedside manner , if he has one. Orders a medication without telling me he’s doing so. Unfortunately he’s more concerned about his schedule than he is in allowing me a 5 minute bathroom emergency!A decent doctor is never that rigid!! I almost had an accident. Shame on him!!!Also the words impersonal, abrupt and flippant come to mind. At least go out of your way to be helpful to a patient , not barking remarks at him and being so robotic and mechanical.

Dr. Villa is a downright horrible human being. He does not care about his patients - he did not answer a single one of my questions, didn't acknowledge any of my medical history/issues that I literally went to him and made me argue with him for but was happy to argue about with me about getting my insurance to overpay him so he can make money. Did not even include my main symptom for applying for a sleep study so it got denied and he would have to call to it approved...real white in shining armor. If he just simply wrote down my diagnosis it would have been approved but dealing with this guy and his office is like torture. I've never written a review on anyone or anything before but I feel so strongly about stopping anyone else from dealing with what I went through. It's bad enough having health issues, but when you have to argue your literal diagnoses and test results with a "professional" its downright disgusting.

Dr. Villa and his staff are the best! Very friendly and respectful professionals who will answer all your question. Dr. Villa is an expecptional doctor who really cares about his patients.

What a charismatic doctor. His bedside manner has to be one of the best I have ever dealt with. His attention to even the smallest detail is amazing. Before he even explained the situation he had already won us over with his charm. Took time to explain the matter, Gave us sound and great choices and made us feel part of the team and not just a sickly onlooker. Their should be more Dr. in the world like him! it would make people more likely to address their issues and visit a Dr.

Aside from being knowledgeable and helpful, Dr. Villa has a great sense of humor and an awesome bedside manner overall. I am lucky to have him as my pulmonologist!!

Doctor Villa is easy to talk to. He listened and educated me about my condition in simple language without complicated medical terminology. He is friendly and has good sense of humor.!
