Dr. John Vaikutis, DO

Dr. Vaikutis is incredibly approachable and makes you comfortable discussing your health concerns. He is not condescending or pushing you through quickly like so many other doctors I have been to. I get the time that I need with him and he looks for solutions that make his patients comfortable. Highly, highly recommend.

Have been a patient for many years. Very knowledge and a rational approach. Recognized my PSA slowly rising and recommended seeing a urologist. Turned out to be prostate cancer and caught early. Excellent Dr and staff.

Every “ routine “ visit is carefully reviewed . Sick visits are detailed and complete in diagnosis AND explanation for follow updates. Prompt considerate caring attention !

I find Dr. Vaikutis very knowledgeable and dedicated physician who cares about his patients. He is my husband's doctor and I frequently attends appointments with him.. Recently he provided immediate medical services for my brother who had been hospitalized in another state and returned to Illinois for services. Dr. Vaikutis clearly explained previous previous medical records, prescriptions, and made appropriate referrals. I have never had a problem with him or staff members.

Not at all pleased with him or his staff. I caught them in a lie about my treatment and when I called them on it, they made up inadequate excuses. I find his medical knowledge lacking but only due to his laziness as a doctor since he doesn't look at your entire medical picture. His staff is not well informed and make up facts if you pressure them for concrete answers. I found him and his staff to be not only unprofessional but condescending as well. I fired him as my doctor and won't go back.

My son that is almost 2 yrs old screamed every time we went to peds DR and then I made an appt for his 12 mo visit with Dr. Vaikutis and my son climbed up in his lap and was happy as can be and ever since then we have cry free visits. He is wonderful
