Dr. John Touliatos, MD

I didn't care for this doctor at all. I went to see him because I had some concerns about some hoarseness that I have been having. My goal was to eliminate the hoarseness so that I can go back into one of my passions.....and that is singing. He did a nasal endoscopy and told me that there was a little irritation and that I had no nodules. I tried to talk to him further about the hoarseness and what could be causing it, but he seemed to be in a hurry to get me out of the room. He was rushing and was very disengaged. He offered no advice on how to relieve the hoarseness or what could be causing it. I felt that he made a quick ($300 plus) and my problem was still unresolved. I wasn't in that room pass 7 minutes. With some doctors, I feel that they are in it for the money and not the people.

Very caring explains thoroughly a diagnosis and options. Concerned for patient and family.

I had the worst and must unprofessionally visit from the people that answer the phone to book an appointment for possible ear infection and from the front desk that they do not greet or smile and not willing to help. I had to wait for more than hour to see the the nurse practitioner. She was very nice and very kind did excellent exam she subscribed a cream medication to pick it up from nearby Walgreens that was never send and when I visited the doctors office next day the unfriendly front desk informed me that to wait until Monday that means 5 days , when the nurse practitioner returns to work and she is not willing to help. I did not meet Dr Touliatos and I can not say anything about him but the staff is worthless .

I had thyroid cancer. Dr Touliatos did my surgery. He was great. He has such a gentleness that made me very comfortable right before surgery. He also removed a nasal polyp. I just love him.

It’s hard to find doctors and nurses who care about all aspects of patient care. I was very concerned about something, and didn’t have an appointment for another week and a half. I left a message for his nurse, Ginger, not expecting much help. She called back promptly, was exceptionally kind and worked me in to see Dr. Touiliatos that same day. Dr. Touiliatos was just as kind. He listened to me, did a thorough exam and explained his thoughts on the issue clearly and without talking down to me. I had some testing done and Ginger called with my results the same day o received the test. I would recommend this doctor and his staff to anyone.

Very professional doctor with a vast knowledge of his field with ENT . I highly recommend him . A good Christian man with a caring character to help others in need.

Worst experience I have had in a long time. I waited almost an hour to find out the doctor was not even at the office yet. Dr Touliatos is not respectful of my time. Taking off Work to not even see a doctor and the staff didn’t even update me. They were just going to let me sit there for hours until he decided to show up.

Dr. Touliatos did my tonsillectomy and did an amazing job. Prior to surgery he introduced himself, thoroughly explained the process, and clearly identified what to expect after surgery. Before leaving the room he asked if he could pray with me prior to surgery. He stated that he likes to pray with all of his patients. It was clear that he cares for his patients prior to surgery, during surgery, and is aware of the struggle post operation. The team of nurses that worked alongside the doctor was caring and thorough through out the entire process. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a tonsillectomy in the Memphis area.

I am an adult that needed my tonsils removed. His office was nice. His team was nice. I had never met him prior to the surgery. I instantly liked him. He was respectful, answered all my questions and all my wife's questions. He was super personable. He called me later in the afternoon to see how I was and said if I needed anything, let him know. I truly felt like it was genuine also. You don't see that every day in Doctors.

Excellent doctor. He did my thyroid surgery and I did great.

Dr. Touliatos is the best Dr. I’ve ever met. He possesses every quality you’d ever want in a Doctor, and then more. His professionalism, his ability to explain complex procedures, his bed-side manners, and his genuine likeableness are just some of the attributes I’ve noticed and admire. I could not offer a stronger recommendation for this guy. Dr. Touliatos, if you are reading this, expect a Christmas basket for you and the team in December. Thanks again!

I had to use Dr Touliatos because of a surprise issue. His bedside manor is excellent He is clear on options and considerations He even shared a prayer with me Thank you Dr.

Dr. Touliatos has performed two of my ear surgeries and was extremely helpful, kind, and professional. He prayed with my family and I before the surgeries and put us at ease. He is also great with kids and easily explains what needs to be done. You will not find a more genuinely caring ENT doctor in Memphis! He was able to help heal my ears significantly and also performed surgery on my grandmother, even she was impressed with him! I highly recommend going to see Dr. Touliatos

When I went to see Dr. Touliatos. I left feeling like I had a mental problem. It disturbed my spirit. He came in all about business and had no bed side manners. He never answered my questions and you got ir wrong this time. Listen to your patients and not to your machine. I needed answers and all I got was your personal opinion and not answers to my problem. I'm very disappointed with my visit. And very disappointed with you. I hope no one ever have to deal with the hurt I felt from your words.

The front office staff is incompetent. We waited more than an hour and a half after being told that we were the next patient, and then they called back three more people. We requested a refund and will not return . Also the child play room toys are disgusting and broken

I love him! He removed my tonsils and has helped me tremendously with my allergies.
