Thorough, caring, clear in his explanations. Did tests to make certain we did what was needed and did not do anything unnecessary. In my case, he recommended not to do surgery and continue with therapy. It was absolutely the best choice for me. This past Monday at age 80 I was able to run my 18 successive Boston Marathon! Over the years, Dr. Tessier has repaired my torn rotator cuff, replaced my left knee and replaced my left hip. All total successes. Would not consider any other orthopedic surgeon in STL. Absolutely the best!

If you have hip dysplasia and need total hip replacement, SEE AN EXPERT in dysplasia (Wash U Ortho) and NOT Tessier. Look at his 1 star surgical outcome rating on checkbook.org. Regret having Tessier perform the surgery with every painful limping step I take. Had my right hip replaced in 2009 without incident. In 2014 Tessier convinced me it be easier if he did the surgery. Woke up with permanent foot drop total peroneal and sciatic palsy from an over lengthened leg.

Dr. Tessier and their entire staff are phenomenal. I have had my share of doctors and worked with many. I have referred my family, friends and patient's to Dr. Tesseier and his Group. I was blessed to have the best of the best with Dr. Tessier. Including all his staff. Everyone is professional and personal.. The situation is a win win.!

After seeing three other surgeons, who all wanted to replace my knee, I was referred to Dr. Tessier, around 6 years ago. He has kept me going with minimal pain without any surgery. I won't trust my joints to anyone else. Please don't ever retire Dr Tessier.

Dr. Tressier has performed a left hip replacement and a total right knee replacement for me. I would recommend him to any one considering this type of surgery. His explanations, caring, and compassion are above reproach. He takes time to listen to questions and explain in easy to understand terms what is going to happen or what needs to be done. He is not surgery first doctor either. If there are other options he will explain them as well. I would not consider any one else.

Dr. Tessier was warm and welcoming. He was not the typical doctor who is in a "rush" as he took the time to explain everything, AND, answer questions. He also exhibits genuine concern and I would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone.
I am at the 3 month post surgery point and from a "results" perspective I could not be happier with my total knee replacement.
