How I almost met my end
I saw Dr. Tapp for a few years. I initially went simply for ADHD treatment but he will do A LOT of lab work and add on any medication he can as long as he can squeeze the diagnosis in. Well, he added to many medications together and they worked against each other and I ended up sadly having some suicidal thoughts and needed to be treated inpatient for that to keep myself safe. I’m very happy to say I’m doing much better now. It’s just a shame that I went to someone who was painted to me to be such a “great doctor” who put me on 4 different medications that I didn’t ask for, or need for that matter, and it went so terribly. Also, thanks to him there is now a diagnosis in my medical record that makes it nearly impossible to purchase life insurance, even though another doctor says that I don’t actually have that condition. Also, while I can say that some of his office staff were very nice, it is also true at the same time that most of them are VERY unprofessional.

dr tapp stacks them in like cord wood. you wait for hours to see him. his staff has terrible follow through. if he recommends a proceedure and you are never gotten back to. he has over medicated me and at one time i fell into a coma. he's in it to make a buck because he won't prescribe medications for more than 3 months. he won't prescribe over the phone, you have to make an appointment. he knows his stuff but it takes too long to get it

Wouldn't go there ... they take my insurance, but sent my lab work to a lab that isn't in my network, resulting in a $1300 bill for a simple urine test. When I asked them to send my lab work to a different lab, they refused! and said not to worry about the bill, the lab doesn't use a collection agency. This is so unprofessional, unethical, and irresponsible. Would NOT recommend this office!!!

The staff there have real bad attitudes, put you on wait on the phone only to answer the phone and tell you to wait several more times, they hang up on you when you say you have a question and Dr Tapp is pretty incompetent, doesn't listen to you about what's going on with you.
