Listened to my concerns
I was over an hour early due to transportation issues. I thought I was going to have to wait forever but I didn't. It was a shame wait. I went over my concerns and he listened and looked at everything. He went over medications he would prescribe and the next steps in my treatment. I felt very comfortable and assured after I left.

Unacceptable service.
My son was diagnosed by this Doctor with HSV because someone with a cold sore kissed my son. My wife and I have been calling this office several times, leaving our numbers and have gotten no call backs. It’s been a week, voice mail after voicemail, no answer, no call back. This is unacceptable and wildly ridiculous that this office isn’t returning our calls, trying to help my not even two year old son that has HSV now. No information, no help, nothing.

Best Dermatologist in Ky
Went to a consultation with Dr. Strickley and he was professional, kind, understanding and explained everything in detail so I could understand it. Very personable. Although I hope I don't have any dermatology issues in the future, if I do will return to Dr. John

I was forced to find a new dermatologist after my long time doctor's practice was bought out by a company who didn't take my insurance. I was told Associates in Dermatology was highly recommended. I had no trouble in getting an appointment in a timely fashion and was told Dr. Strickley would be the one! He didn't want to address all of my issues as I am a skin cancer patient and have had 2 prior melanoma surgeries and other skin cancer removed. He was extremely insensitive and inconsiderate and wasn't informative at all about the basic cell carcinoma spots he said he was going to remove. Further more one of my wounds is now infected! I've never in my life had a doctor make me cry at a visit! I'm extremely disappointed and resentful of his lack of bedside manner and overall care!

Amazing Experience
I recently moved to Louisville and was looking to see a dermatologist. Dr Strickley had openings much sooner than any dermatologist in the area and was extremely kind during my appointment. He did a thorough exam and addressed several things that I had not planned to bring up. He went above and beyond to listen to my concerns and create a plan that would fit into my lifestyle. He even called me a few days after I was there to see if I had any issues obtaining the medications he prescribed. I would highly recommend Dr. Strickley to anyone looking for a new dermatologist.
