I am by his side in bed could not breath and having crushing chest pain, instead of doing something. he took it so lightly and asked me where I was from. what is wrong with this man. he was like waiting for me to die so he would do something about my heart. nothing to be done before that point, unbelievable.

I had a terrible experience w/Dr. Spellman today. He was rude, rushing, didn't listen to me and was cutting me off mid sentence! He didn't want to see anything or even pretend to care what I was trying to show him regarding my new sudden onset of hypertension after Covid. I'm a healthy person, never had hypertension in my life!! He insinuated this is due to weight & lifestyle choices such as diet & exercise!! I may need to lose some weight, but I've been at this weight for a few years & never had hypertension!! I had a hypertensive emergency last week at Urgent Care when I tested positive for Covid, my BP was 182/124 after being administered Clonidine!! I had to rush to the ER & was admitted! Every medical professional I've been in contact with since this happened all say it's Covid doing it!! I was hopeful that a specialist with his expertise would give me some answers but instead I just left feeling judged, disappointed & disgusted!!! I would Never recommend him!!

No bedside manner, unprofessional and completely swept symptoms under the rug. When a patient comes to an MD with sudden onset of dizziness with high BP (no history); telling the patient to get "use to it" is unacceptable. As someone in the medical field, Dr.Spellman should be ashamed of himself.

My last appointment was completed through FACETIME on my phone. Of course some things could not be done on this medium but questions by the doctor provided him with the information to make a decision on my health. Any questions I had was answered.

Dr. John Spellman has been my cardiologist for the past several years. I have found that he a thorough observer and talented diognostician. He never misses any nuances in my medical history and his recommendations and follow-up is always spot on. From reception to exam, echo cardiogram and stress test, each technician introduced themselves and were conversational in answering any questions. I was able to ask questions and did not feel rushed out of the office. I would highly recommend Dr. Spellman and his practice.

I have always spoken very highly of Dr. Spellman. He is, in my opinion, a very good cardiologist. I have been a patient of his since my heart attack in 2005. My visits to see him have always been good. The staff under his guidance have always been cheerful and very qualified in their job performance. Keep on keeping on Dr. and staff.
