Dr. John Snell, MD

on April 19 2024 Dr Snell was my Anesthesiologist for what may have been a routine colonoscopy and endoscope but with my extreme family history it was anything but routine for me. Dr. Snell came and put my fears at ease with his comforting and professional attitude and made me feel like no matter what outcome HE IS THERE AND HAS MY BACK. I am so grateful for this wonderful man who comforted an old lady though a rough experience. Thank you Dr. Snell.

After lengthy discussion with my orthopedist about the epidural steroid injection and exactly why it would be injected at C6-7 via fluoroscopic guidance, I waited 5 weeks for an appointment. Dr. Snell tells me that he is going to do the injection at C7-T1 with me sitting, with no fluoroscopic guidance. I was quite upset when he told me that he doesn’t do the procedure prescribed by my ortho. He offered to reschedule with one of his colleagues at a later date, but since I had waited so long for the appointment and was being bothered by both nerve pain and tingling down my shoulders to my fingers, I opted to move forward. I got zero relief and I’m still very upset at Dr. Snell. I do not understand how he could decide on his own to alter the prescribed procedure, and my ortho was also surprised by him changing the procedure. Any potential pain relief has now been delayed at least another 5-6 weeks.
