Dr. John Smith Jr, MD

Dr. Smith was the only doctor who had appointment availability on short notice to see me and now I can understand why. He was unpleasant, condemning, and never took the trouble to review my chart which has a very clear and long medical history. He tried to prescribe a medicine for me that has severe warnings not to be used for patients with diabetes and high blood pressure. I have both conditions, clearly stated in my chart. When I pointed this out to him, he just replied “oh”, and couldn’t have cared less. He backed off then and did not prescribe the medicine. He told me I must avoid “ethic” food. When I asked what he meant by that he said, “ Well, you’re Mexican and have to stop eating that greasy food”.I politely informed him I’m from Spain and have been an American citizen for over 50 years. Would never recommend this Doctor.

Very uncaring doctor. Had a very demeaning manner to him, would not recommend to anyone.

He was very helpful in explaining that my symptoms needed further investigated at the time attacks were occurring. And the colonoscopy went well, ruled out some concerns. I enjoyed talking to him and trust his judhement.

he wouldnt schedule a colonoscopy even when my primary recommended it. He didnt take my concerns into consideration and chalked up my condition as ibs. I went to another dr and found out it was a more serious problem and I got it corrected. Would not recommend him to anyone.
