Over several years, Sharp has treated me for all sorts of foot issues. He is comforting, capable, and occasionally funny. He can be counted on to correctly identify the issue(s) and provide relief.

Dr. Sharp is a good, caring doctor. His assistant is very good also.Dr. Sharp gave me a few options and explained every option and took the time to listen to me and asked questions in such a way that I understood and was able to give him the answers he needed to treat my condition. I would recommend Dr. Sharp to any person looking for a good doctor.

Two years ago I had a bone spur removal and Achilles tendon extension. It was done excellently by a doctor who is a leader in his field. Then this month I had the same procedure on the other leg. And once again I had an amazing job done by a doctor who was an expert in his field. A doctor not only with knowledge but skill and personal care. Both surgeries were done by Dr. John Sharp. I would never trust anyone else to do any surgery on my feet.

Following an unexpected serious injury, I returned to OCC for orthopedic care and surgery. Dr. Sharp's specialty knowledge, ability to listen, and willingness to provide options is very reassuring, trustworthy and rare. Dr. Sharp carefully explained my injury, the possible solutions and potential results based upon his experience. I never felt pressured to make one decision over another. Being a Type A personality, when my husband and I left the initial appointment, I even said to him that Dr. Sharp has such a calming demeanor. I am in the middle of my recovery and am so pleased to be under the care of Dr. Sharp.

Great staff and Dr Sharp was thorough in explaining my ankle issue and what the plan was to restore good ankle function.

Dr Sharp was incredibly understanding, caring, and knowledgeable in dealing with the diagnosis and repair of my ankle. My husband and I have used Peak Orthopedics for three hip replacements, one knee replacement and one shoulder reconstruction. Every member of their staff is incredible, from their front desk to the nurses and PAs, up to the surgeons. We have been impressed by every surgeon who worked on us. And we must say that Dr. Sharp had been our favorite from the whole group, even though we very much like all of them. He clearly explained the alternatives and when we chose surgery, the pain was kept as minimal as possible and the outcome was great. The surgery center he uses is also wonderful. It's no fun getting surgery but Dr. Sharp, Peak Orthopedics, and the OCC Surgery Center made the experience as good as it possibly could be.

On the website it mentions free consultation and mini invasive surgery but after wasting $250 I was told that he doesn’t do any mini invasive bunion surgeries.

I broke my foot while on vacation and was fortunate enough to find Dr. Sharp as soon as I got home. His office got me in that very day, and Dr. Sharp got me scheduled for surgery the day after that. During my office visit, Dr. Sharp brought up my x-ray and showed me similar breaks and explained repair options in depth. He took his time explaining and it was obvious he is a very caring and articulate doctor. I knew I was in the right place. Because of the seriousness of my break, he got me in for surgery the very next day. Surgery went very well. On my first follow-up, he showed x-rays, explained in detail what he had to do to fix my broken foot and explained how the healing process would work. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Sharp to all my family and friends. He and his staff are the absolute best! They actually have someone answer their phone when you call the office, it is not automated, even on weekends. If you want to see a caring doctor with a caring staff, see Dr Sharp.

The whole visit from check in to check out was provided with the best service. The staff was friendly and worked very efficiently. Dr. Sharpe took the time to explain my situation and made sure all questions were Answered. Every doctors office should run like this.

Throughout our time at OCC Surgery Center, the nurses and staff consistently demonstrated kindness, attentiveness, and a genuine willingness to assist. Their informative nature greatly contributed to making the entire experience significantly more manageable. Our check-in experience with Tay was exceptional. She is a warm and welcoming first contact and we truly appreciate her. Dr. John Sharp deserves special recognition as the go-to orthopedic surgeon. Not only did my husband's surgery proceed flawlessly without encountering any issues, but Dr. Sharp also personally contacted me immediately after the procedure to provide a comprehensive overview of the entire process. Undergoing surgery can be a daunting experience, and it was particularly overwhelming for my husband, who had never previously had a break in his life. However, only one day later, his recovery is progressing remarkably well. He is experiencing minimal pain and is overall feeling great.

Everything about this visit with Dr. Sharp and his staff was excellent. I was processed immediately when I arrived, waited about 5 min before being taken back to an exam room. The Medical Technician took some medical information and had me wait for the X-ray Tech - she arrived in about 10min. The whole process was well orchestrated. The staff were efficient, knowledgeable and personable. Dr. Sharp was so very kind and helpful evaluating both my feet and reviewing bunion surgery options available with before and after surgery file x-rays.

I was acting on a referral from my spine surgeon. He suspected a neuroma in my foot. Dr. Sharp respected the suspicion, but was not satisfied. He patiently listened to my past problems in the foot, and considered them throughout the appointment. He explained the possible problems, x-rayed, and took patient time to explain what was going on. He took the most conservative route of treatment - a cortisone injection - and did it. I highly, highly recommend him to help your foot problems.

I came in with sharp shooting pain in very specific area in my foot. Without hesitation Dr. Sharp examined, got an X-ray and determined I fractured 2 bones in my metatarsal . Thanks for being an amazing, caring dr!!!

Dr. Sharp is a skilled surgeon and is helping me to regain my ability to walk without pain. After trying steroid injections and other procedures, we agreed that the best remedy was a total ankle replacement. Dr. Sharp recently performed that surgery. I have now begun my recovery from that surgery and Dr. Sharp is closely monitoring my progress.

Dr. Sharp is very attentive to the care I need for my feet. He has performed one surgery and given me an injection in the other. He is a great listener and takes the time to explain things. He is so very kind!

My daughter has had multiple injuries to her ankles due to sports. The last rolled ankle was more severe. Dr Sharp explained the diagnosis, importance of treatments, and was encouraging and informative along the way. Thank you for taking care good care of my teen!

Dr. Sharp was patient and answered all my questions and explained them in a way that I could understand.
