The best scoliosis treatment & care
I had a 35° curve due to Scoliosis. I was braced by another Dr. & within a year my curve shot up to 55°. Surgery was recommended, my parents took me to Dr. Sarwark for a 2nd opinion as our PCP & many others recommended him. He performed my scoliosis surgery. To this day I am 95% pain free & had I not at the surgery I'd be in a wheelchair today due to curve progression & pain. 10 yrs. later I was one of the .5% of scoliosis surgical patients to develope an infection (due to no fault of the Dr.) I aged out as I was in college but he didn't hesitate to send me to a doctor in my college town. When that didn't work as planned Dr. Sarwark said he was taking over my care from that point on. After a new course of IV antibiotics failed he removed my Harrington rods. It is all due to him that I am able to walk today, scuba dive, play golf, & lead a pain free life. He has the best bedside manner, doesn't rush you, & explains things to you & makes sure you understand. His expertise is unmatched.

We had the worst medical experience with Dr. Sarward. Mostly because he was running over hour and a half behind schedule. And this was in the morning, how did he get so much behind before noon! When it was finally our turn to see him, he didn't even want to give us any face time, he tried to send us straight to the X-ray, without evaluating if it's even necessary. One of his nurse practitioners (the younger one) was extremely rude, and kept saying "you're not the only people the doctor is seeing today". Right, but we had an appointment! How can you get over 90 mins late in the first half of your work day. When we finally got to see him, his attitude was rude and humiliating, and he didn't even apologize for being late.

This was from a previous surgery that Dr. Sarwark performed on me. He never gave up on my case after many other doctor's did. He found a solution when I was told there was none. I am forever grateful. This is a man with a heart of gold and hands of an angel.
