Great Doctor!
My mother was diagnosed but several other doctors as having arthritis,, a pulled muscle, etc, but Dr Santogrossi and his staff took the time to actually listen to her complaints, ran the necessary tests, and discovered she has stage 4 hepatic carcinoma with METS. We are so thankful for expertise and willingness to go above and beyond.

Wonderful Doctor
I was told my son he had a stomach virus by his pcp, went to the ER and was diagnosed as a type one diabetic by Dr Santogrossi. He took the time to actually find and treat his illness. He saved my son’s life. I am forever grateful for his knowledge, eagerness to help and treat his patients.

Best MD RMC has
Dr. Santogrossi is the best MD RMC has. He is extremely thorough and will work you up and do his very best to figure out what the root of your problem is. He has always been kind, compassionate, considerate, and understanding everytime I have had to go to the ER. When other doctors would brush me off, he didn’t and he has always found what was going on and causing my discomfort. He is by far the best Doctor around! I will not be seen at the ER at RMC unless he is the doctor working.

Very rude, condescending, uncaring, disrespectful
If I was able I would leave “0 stars” for this doctor. He was rude, condescending, disrespectful, uncaring, & has apparently forgotten his oath as a doctor & human no compassion or concern, only A man bully a young mom. When I got to the ER and asked to speak to him, he was extremely rude to me even in my kindness to him. He wouldn’t even speak to us in private. So the entire ER heard everything. We were sent to the ER by her doctor for possible dehydration, a 11 month old baby, whose only urinating diaper was from the night before. She went to the ER around 3ish, she was hardly drinking, not eating & was vomiting w/diarrhea the night before & diarrhea the day of visit. She did get fluids. The doctor called my Daughter a liar told her she was about to put her baby through unnecessary pain, which brought tears to her, then he said why are crying, you’re not the one who is about to be hurting. He had so many more unkind words. I’m just appalled by this behavior as a doctor & as a human.

Came in to the ER because my 11 month old had no wet diapers and I was told the ER would be the best place to go by a nurse. From the moment I got there Dr. Santogrossi accused me of lying about her urine output.

RUDE AND DISMISSIVE
Treated my grandbaby and her family horribly. There was no need for his extremely rude bedside manner and him dismissing a dehydrated baby like that.

Thank god for thoroughness!
He didn’t stop until he got to the root of the issue! I’ve never seen a doc more thorough than him, especially being an ER doc!

Dr Santogrossi is listed as an expert in Emergency care yet when I went to Richardson Medical to the emergency room in acute pain due to an inflamed sciatica nerve I was treated with suspicion, impatience, rudeness, and endless questions on why I came there when I lived in Lake Providence. Even after explaining that all of the MRI's done on my back were done there and the reports were there and I KNEW someone in the business office who encouraged me to come there I was treated with disdain. I hurt so bad I barely could walk. I couldn't get to my primary care doctor until the next week and only asked for a shot to get some relief until then. He and the young female nurse have no business in emergency care. I left in as much pain as I was in when I got there. Unless you like being humiliated and treated like a drug chaser do not go anywhere that he is on duty. It's an EMERGENCY ROOM. EMERGENCY CARE IS SUPPOSE TO BE THEIR JOB! He is the worst of his kind because he gets away with it.
