Dr. John Robinson Jr, MD

The extremely informative nature of the visit and length of time he spent with me was astounding. Dr. Robinson printed out eight images from the MRI, sat next to me and explained each one thoroughly. He explained everything from the purpose of the spinal cord, to the nature of the compression of both the spinal column and spinal cord and how the compression potentially inhibits vital nerves from entering the body and functioning properly. Dr. Robinson not only explained a series of exercises he wanted me to peruse, but also demonstrated them and allowed me to video them for future reference. He explained that an injury from my childhood likely resulted in the gradual stenosis over many years. At the conclusion of the more than one full hour visit, Dr. Robinson left his iPad with me so that I could watch a 4 minute demo of the surgery as many times as I wished, in order to fully understand the procedure. The care and compassion given by Dr. Robinson and Kelly Morgado, and staff-superb!

Dr. Robinson is a kind and compassionate neurosurgeon, he takes his time to explain step by step the procedure he is about to do, not only once but twice to make sure I understood. He has been highly recommended to me by other physicians..so I know I will be in good expert hands.

Dr Robinson performed cervical spinal surgery on me in 2009. I came back to for an assessment. The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The medical assistant was good as well. I had preregistered on-line but it was a bit annoying that I was asked most of the same questions by the medical assistant. I even asked him why I spent my time completing the on-line registration only to be asked the identical questions again.

Never in my 28 years as a nurse, have I had the pleasure to be a PATIENT of such an amazing and talented surgeon. I refused to let anyone touch my cervical discs for fear of the consequences. But I finally was loosing all fine motor movement in my dominant arm. Dr Robinson was kind and caring and explained how important the surgery was. The recovery was much easier than I thought it would be. I’m so very glad I did it and 98% of the function in my arm is BACK ! I owe this man soooo much XOXO

Dr Robinson was the greatest, kindest, most caring Dr I have ever met! He spent almost 2hours of patient explaining and discussed every option without rushing and made me feel very uncomfortable.

He spent over an hour with me, one on one discussing all aspects of my spinal health (lumbar and spine). Explained what each unique issues present themselves and sequence of proceedings needed to remedy and well as risks and rewards.

Dr. Robinson was recommended by a friend for my neck problems and shortly after reviewing my cervical mri, Kathy made the appointment for me. Dr Robinson was very personable and thorough during the neuro exam and took his time explaining my condition and answering all my questions as to what my options are. His nurse, Rene was also very professional and kind as well.
