Very Impressed With Dr. Riser
I arrived early and didn't have a long wait at all. He was very thorough in his examination of me and he asked a multitude of questions trying to get a feel for whatever I have going on with my body. I took all my previous labs and Dr's notes with me and he reviewed all the ones pertinent to my visit to him and thanked me for bringing them with me. He ordered blood work, which was done there in his office and he is letting me get my MRI in my hometown instead of driving back to B'ham. He listened to me and all my concerns and did quite a comprehensive visit with me. I was with him for 30-40 minutes, which was way more than I expected based on what I received from the other Neuro that I had seen prior to him. His staff is pleasant and accommodating to the patient's needs, very professional all the while being pleasant to be around. I was very impressed and would recommend him to anyone needing a compassionate and patient Neurologist.

My mom has been waiting on a call back from dr riser's office regarding appointment scheduling since last Friday. At this point I don't know if even want her to see a doc that doesn't even have the common courtesy to return a phone call in a timely manner.
