Dismissive
I have been dealing with knee pain for months now. At first, they tried telling me I had Lymes and after blood work came back negative, insisted it was not possible that I could have a torn meniscus (even after I told him it felt like the right knee did when it was torn). Now they are insistent that after MRI proved it was torn that surgery won't work and I should just do injections. I have been walking around in pain and knee is visibly swollen and MRI shows there is fluidbut yet, he did not remove any. He just dismissed me and adviced me to get a second oponion since I was pushing for surgery since I am in so much pain. Injections are not working on the Right knee so I do not want to continue to waste money, time or quality of life. They tell me I need a knee replacement but I am too young. I feel I am too young to not be abale to participate in every day life activities also!

Terrible doctor with no interest in treatment
Telehealth
Dr. Richmond was condescending, dismissive and incorrect in his treatment. I had a swollen knee and could barely bend it. He refused to order an MRI because 'he wouldn't do anything anyway' and insisted that I had Lyme disease. After demanding an MRI, it turned out I had a torn meniscus and I found a new doctor who suggested surgery.

Dr Richmond was great. Quickly diagnosed my problem and basically said with time, my knee sprain would heal. No invasive treatments recommended. Got appointment the same day as I called and whole appointment took about 30 minutes...took me early, x-ray, saw doc, and got a knee brace. All I can say is wow!!

Dr. Richmond was excellent. He is exactly what you want from a physician: smart, kind, and attentive. This was easily the best experience I've had at any doctor's office.
