We went to Dr Prieve for several years but it got worse and worse until we left 2 years ago. We lost confidence. Found better!

Competent but does the bare minimum
I am a senior and have been to many primary care doctors. Dr. Prieve is knowledgeable but did not take the time with me at a recent annual visit. He listened to my heart and lungs and that was it. He didn't go over my labs I had just completed and he didn't sit down with me. The total visit was about 5 minutes. The office staff is friendly and competent and seem to filter questions for Dr Prieve when I have called the office to report a new finding. Dr Prieve addressed concerns through his office staff. In addition, there is no way to message the doctor or website for results. This has all been alright since I don't have any major or chronic health concerns. My previous PCP took the time with me, sat down and actually talked with me and listened to my concerns. I will be looking for another PCP this coming year.

Dr. Prieve, Yvonne and Danielle are an amazing team. Professional, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. They are so helpful in difficult times. They treat patients like we should be treated. I have family and friends that see them and all feel the same!

Dr. Prieve and staff are excellent. I have been a patient for over a decade and have been treated with respect and total competence. It is great to see the same MD everytime. Does a great job.

Do not answer phone, recording doesnt take message
NOT GOOD! Most of time recording on, does not take message. When you do get thru they are abrupt. they dont call in RX to pharmacy promptly or call you with test results. Very UN-Caring !

COMPASSIONATE
I have been going to Dr Prieve for close to 10 years. He always takes his time and is very thorough. I never feel like he is rushing to get to the next patient. I never have to wait very long in the waiting room which is a big plus for me. I will continue seeing him for as long as he is in practice.

The worst Doctor and he lacks in knowledge what he should do next. He never suggests anything just promotes pills and does nothing. He makes you suffer in pain for months.

UHC HAD TO MAKE HIM RENEW MY RX, THEN HE PULLED BACK MY TEST STRIP RX THAT HE CALLED IN. I GET A LTR FROM THE PHARMACY THAT IT HAPPENED, HIS OFC DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DIAL A PHONE APPARENTLY......... HIS STAFF IS RUDE, I WAS TOLD TO GET MY HAND LOOKED AT, HIS NURSE TOLD ME THE REFERRAL WOULD CALL ME, WHEN I DID NOT HEAR FOR OVER 30 DAYS I CALLED HIS OFC, AND WAS TOLD "WE BEND OVER BACKWARDS FOR YOU, WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?" , WELL IT HAS BEEN OVER 8 MONTHS AND STILL NO CALL.........

Hes not through at all. Wants you in and out. Doesnt care about patients. Avoid him like the plague.

I chose Dr Prieve as a referral from a friend. He genuinely cares about his patients and is very knowledgeable. Appointment times are always kept on time and his staff is caring and friendly

Truly one of the best doctors and staff in the valley. Have been going to this family practice for over 35 years. Have been through my share medical experiences at several doctors and facilities over the years, they truly are good.
