Very Knowledgeable and Open to Treatment Options
Dr. Posten is neither pro-meds or anti-meds--but he has helped me well on a number of issues. He is also open to alternative treatments and works with me on my issues. He is a good listener and explains things well.

Despite being a relatively young doctor, Dr. Posten is a "doctors knows best" version of a family doctor. He did not consider what I wanted but pressured me with all kinds of bloodwork and tests during the pandemic before anyone was vaccinated and I was very worried about getting Covid. I wondered if this was because of needing business and income. When I refused to get these tests he sent me a certified letter saying after a certain date he would no longer be my doctor. I subsequently found a wonderful provider who is very interested in what I want and need in the way of treatment. However Sutter will not take Dr. Posten off My Health Online and he is actively there despite the fact that he dumped me and is no longer available to treat me. I asked him to take himself off and he responded with a disparaging comment that I must have anger toward him, which I don't. I'm glad he's gone. I just wish he was completely gone.

Dr. Posten dumped me as a patient. He's very young, aggressive, controlling, and had an agenda for my care that I didn't agree with or go along with. He relies heavily on many tests and labwork and because of the pandemic I did not wish to risk my health (and life) to comply.
