Go ANYWHERE ELSE they don't want you anyways
My insurance changed and I can only see Dr. Del Guidice and Dr. Pixley. Called the office to get an appointment as I have had lupus since 2011. The rude receptionist refused to make me an appointment stating 'we are not accepting new patients right now' after I told her the only other option in town is retired. She said 'we are just not accepting new patients right now, call your PCP and have them refer you somewhere else'... There is LITERALLY no where else I can go. She gave zero f&cks. So now I am going to have to go unmanaged with SLE. F&ck this physician's office, they don't care about you, just go somewhere else.

Sad
I am a nurse and have seen Dr. Pixley treat patients in the hospital horribly for years. I was no exception in his clinic. He doesn’t listen, makes the patient feel hopeless or like there isn’t anything wrong with them, which is everyone’s fear in the first place with seeing a specialists. The sad part is I am unable to see anyone else because of the insurance my hospital provides me. It’s a horrible situation.

huge disconect
There is a huge disconnect between pixley and his staff. I needed him to be m noe dr. my old one retired. he looked me over quickly and said, ok no changes, come back on 3 months... then they didn't fill any of my medications becaus he didn't origionally perscribe them, then they forgot half a dose, then they missed 3 othermeds that were supposed to be on the list, then .........you see why I am angry. I will never see this dr again. I will drive to denver if I have to, this service is baddddddddd

Don't waste your time!!
If there was a lower star review I'd give it. Do not waste your time with this Dr. He cancels constantly. I was canceled several times without being seen. I've had to go to urgent care to get steroid shots to be able to walk, just to make it to my appointment that never happens. Always an excuse. Don't make the same mistake. Go to Dr P he goes above and beyond to get you in! I feel bad for his staff. They are so sweet. Must be extremely embarrassing for them.
