Dr. John Ord, MD

Dr. Ord has been my cardiologist for 16 years now after I had a freakish heart attack at the age of 43, don't drink, don't smoke and I am not over weight and I exercise everyday. He literally Saved my life. His staff is kind, caring,hard working and attentive. I would highly recommend Dr.Ord.

I am so glad that I chose this physician. He was very thorough, with visuals, to explain what I could possibly be experiencing. He seemed genuinely concerned and started a exploratory plan to determine the exact cause of my issues. The office and staff were very clean and health conscious.

I have swelling in my left ankle and foot. At night this swelling reduces in the ankle but not so much in the foot. Dr Ord reviewed my records and felt this was a common side effect of Amlodipine Besylate 5mg 1x pm daily dose. He told me to cut my precription tablet in half to see if the swelling improved. It has a little but my foot is still swollen and not reduceing at night. My right foot is normal, a vein was removed from my right leg for a by pass graft 2/12/95. I think this reduces the blood flow in my right leg and so the dilation effect of the Amlodipine is more pronounced in my left leg hence the swelling in the left leg only. I do not tnink its injury (i can't recall one) Blockage ( I am on Prasugrel) a platlet inhibitor that causes eay bruising and poor clotting) and it doesn't respond to elevation or hospital support stockings (with open toes). So Im waiting to see if my diuretic (Hydrochlorothiaide 12.5 mg 1x Am) will be increased.

This was my annual visit with Dr. Ord. The app suggested to be used was too complicated so we ended up simply using Face Time which was very east to establish communications. Everything went well. There were things that could not be accomplished over the phone however the scheduled tests were reviewed and I have the equipment to take my BP and weight. We scheduled my next appointment 6 months out so as to visit Dr. Ord and perform the additional testing as needed.

Dr. Ord has been extremely caring and attentive in his practice anytime I have had the opportunity to visit with him over the last few years. He has always spent the time needed to give me the peace of mind that all was taken care of unlike what you see in some new corporate medical practices. I truly trust his character and expertise in his medical practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ord for 9 years, since he originally installed my stints. He and his staff at Aurora Denver Cardiology Associates have always been top notch in their care. I highly recommend their practice.

Dr Ord is a very compassionate man who takes all the time you want to talk to you and understands where you are coming from.

Dr. Ord is wonderful! He is compassionate and really takes the time to hear your concerns and discuss your issues. His practice was not covered on my insurance but I will not switch doctors.

I came to see Dr. Ord and his office after having a stent placed. He was patient and thorough. His staff was super helpful in helping me get my meds straightened out and affordable!

Dr. Ord has been my cardiologist for many years. He knows his patients. Since I have been good in keeping and watching my health, he said I do not to see him every six months. It was changed to annually. I think that was 5 yrs. ago.
