How is it that Dr. Nicholas told my family member that I may not be a "Good Idea" to get tested for COVID... they were right there in your office? I'm going to urgent care today. But it's inconceivable that a person who paid and took time to see a doctor would respond in this way during a pandemic. I need an answer.

Came to Dr. Nicolas as a new patient and my experience was very frustrating and disappointing. With previous doctors I always receive a general summary of my blood lab and how things look following my annual exam. Did not receive any feedback at all making me think it wasn't even looked at. Submitted a follow up question through the Northwestern Medicine MyChart portal about my results and never received a response back. The most frustrating part was I needed to refill a simple prescription I've been regularly taking for years and had to call his office literally 5 times before it was finally sent over to my pharmacy. It took an entire month from when I came in for my visit to when I finally was able to fill my prescription. A patient should not have to follow up with his or her doctor numerous times to get them to fill a simple prescription. The non-responsiveness and lack of attention put a very bad taste in my mouth and I will be looking for a new general practitioner moving forward
