Mediocre care. At best. $150 for MAYBE 20 mins. $100 to fax a note to my primary care doc? Nothing out of the ordinary, just wanting my official diagnosis! They charge to call your pharmacy. Even when THEY mess up, the pharmacy can’t call or get ahold of anyone because NO ONE answers. The office wouldn’t talk to my pharmacy directly. It would have taken 10 mins. Which is exactly how long it took once I finally convinced a staff member to call the pharmacy themselves. You get “checked on” when it’s time to pay. You bet they call you back! You have to pay 2 days in advance and if there is ANY kind of issue.. they will call 20 times to get that credit card swiped. They start out amazing and make you comfortable then, awful. It’s really sad. People need help and you can’t get it here. wish I could add the condescending voicemails the front office has left.Rude. Beyond belief. I hate that I’m a Karen right now But wow.. so much for good mental health. Thanks for nothing

Pleasant provider and staff!
Lovely experience! He is a friendly guy and Magy is very easy to talk to, friendly, and personable! Medication refills taking too long (as noted in other reviews) is really only up to the patient as they do advise you do sent in a refill request in advance of when you need your medication.

Finally!!!
I am so pleased to say that after searching for so many years I have hit the jackpot. Dr. Naus is so full of information and explains it very well. He took the time to sit with me and talk about what was going on with “me” So many other places I have been to it’s like cattle call. Moving forward I know that I am going to get an end result. It isn’t going to be instantaneous, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Just another pill mill
This office exists to prescribe medication. End of story. You will get nothing else out of these people. I was a patient of Dr. Naus' office for 4 years. After all that time, I receive no clarity about my condition, or why I am the way I am. Since when are physicians no longer required to diagnose their patients? I work in the medical field, and spend the majority of my day surrounded by medical professionals. I have been told numerous times by colleagues that I most likely have an Autism Spectrum Disorder, given that I meet the diagnostic criteria. However, after 4 years of being treated by a so called psychiatrist, I never even had a discussion about my condition? How dare you neglect your patients like this, Dr. Naus. How dare you. I can't help but feel enraged and cheated.

Fantastic Care
I’ve been coming here for several years and am very happy that I found them. After my initial visit with Dr. Naus, I saw Megan and have continued to see her since. She’s absolutely amazing and while she sometimes runs a little behind, I’m fine waiting because I know she is taking time with each of her patients, not overbooking. I’ve referred a few people to the practice, specifically to Megan, and I always hear how great she is at listening to understand your concern, make sure you understand the treatment plan, and how it’s clear that she cares. Short of moving out of state, I plan on continuing to see her as long as I am in need of a psychiatrist and will continue to refer others here.

Can not get in contact
I have called multiple times and left multiple messages and NO ONE answers. They do however call you back when you need to pay for your appointment in advance (My appointments are usually on Monday, but I have to pay almost $200 on Thursday or I wont have an appointment.) I have been out of my medication for almost 3 months and have called and left numerous messages both online and through the phone. The only time anyone has ever gotten back to me is when I said I was to cancel/reschedule an appointment. I am starting to think this psychiatrist office is more money motivated than actually helping the patient. Please do not think this review has anything against the actual NP who does help me, but rather than the management. It is incredibly frustrating having to pay money that I do not have every month or so, just to say I have not been able to take my medication. I have another appointment in March and I have a feeling how it will turn out. Frustrated and not impressed...

I am seen under the NP Megan and she is AMAZING! One of the best. HOWEVER I am condsidering leaving the practice because of the god awful reception staff. I am 17 weeks pregnant and needed a refill of my med. this med causes withdrawals if you don't take it and it could cause harm to my unborn baby. (It is not a controlled substance it is literally Seroquel) They literally could not have cared less and gave me nothing but attitude. This is probably the 5th time I've had trouble getting refills but it's more serious now that I'm pregnant. The office will NEVER answer. I even called the emergency line and they didn't pick up. You know who called back? The SCHEDULING department. They responded to my online request for an appointment faster than the EMERGENCY line called me back. I didn't need an appointment that's just the only way I could get somebody on the phone. All of this took a total of 3 hours to get resolved. If you have meds that you can't go a day without because of something l

John Naus’s psychiatrist practice is the worst medical office I have ever been to. The staff does not care about it’s patients health or well being, what they care about is money. If you call the office they do not answer the phone and their responses to voicemails take weeks, if they decide to respond at all, which usually they don’t. In addition to the poor communication they mislead you about the cost of visits and then come back saying that you owe a large bill that was never discussed with you. Their defense for this is that appointment costs are estimates, but that does not make sense since the same appointment should have the same total every time. If you try to advocate for yourself or get any sort of explanation the staff gets extremely rude and hostile. They do not care and use the excuse that they have 80 other patients, so they don’t have the time to call back. John Naus was an okay psychiatrist, but I would never recommend anyone to ever come here because of the staff.

Thwy have been amazing for me during this covid epidemic. I have never had an issue being seen. My first appt was with Dr naus and he was awesome. He listened to everything I was saying and j was able to get the meds that I needed. I now see his pa and she's been amazing and was running late once for just one appointment.

This office runs like a scam. They don't have an email to get in touch. They don't answer phones when you call them. I am surprised they are still in business. Dr. Naus is the most unsincere Doctor I have seen. His staff is always late for appointments.

(More on previous review) He and his great staff, Meagan, are the reason I smile. Lynn Heselton is a therapist that works in this clinic and I HIGHLY recommend her. Because of them, I no longer feel like my life is out of control. I have achieved things that were just dreams two years ago, and I have peace. Yes, peace. Please, give them a call. Take your life back. Live your best life. I am. So can you.

I went to Dr. Naus for a couple of years and saw his PA. While he and the PA were great, the office and staff function very poorly. The last time I was there, I was still sitting in the waiting room an hour after my appt time. The office staff couldn’t tell me when I would be seen. I had to get back to work so I rescheduled. I ended up having to go out of town and called to cancel well ahead of the appt. and they actually still have my copay from the visit where they left me sitting in the waiting room. They accepted payment for services not rendered. I received a message today (4 days after leaving vm) that they could not schedule my appt because I was a no show, when in fact they were the “no show”. The other reviewers are accurate and sadly this is not a reputable office to seek treatment from. When someone is struggling and needs help, this is not the environment or appropriate place to seek help from.

This office is a joke!! Showed up and they didn’t have me on the schedule (I kinda felt uneasy cause I never had a drs office schedule appt thru text) they said they worked me in and then after 2 hours of waiting told me I wouldn’t be seen! I asked for my copay back and not to reschedule me there! Their front office staff sucks and could care less if a patient walks out! I can’t believe a doctor would allow his office to operate in that manor!! Must say a lot about him!

I am a regular patient. Have been getting treatment for over a year. I absolutely like the staff at the front desk and the other staff. The first time I met Dr. Naus and had my evaluation, I truly was impressed with his patience, how he made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I also admire his patience and how long he spends time with a patient. I am being treated by a great physician, her name is, Dr. Mammo Shelmith. I am just totally pleased with her, I feel that she's my friend and I can tell her anything. I would recommend her and the other physicians to my children, family and friends. Looking for to my next appointment.

I like my provider, but the front office is horrible. They consistently refuse refills until I see my provider despite having never missed an appointment. I am tired of being treated as a drug seeker when I'm trying to get time appropriate refills on medications already prescribed.

My experience with Dr. Naus today was a complete waste of time and money. My appointment was at 10am, I waited 2 hours to be told that I could come back at 2 if I couldn't continue to wait. Then when I did finally see the doctor, I was told to go and see a therapist and get more sleep. I have a diagnosed anxiety disorder and my appointment was to take over my medication management. Absolute joke.

His staff, Dr naus, and cheryl are amazing!!! I've been going to him over a year. You do have to go online a couple of days prior to your refill due date and request a refill. They are very fast at getting it done. Same day. Never tried calling one in. I know with going online they do it the day of!very helpful and getting to the root of the problem. High reccomend!
