I wouldn’t normally seek out an anesthesiologist’s Healthgrades page to leave a review, but Dr. Muller is the exception to the rule. I recently had surgery at HSS on my elbow, and Dr. Muller oversaw my anesthesia. I have a condition which can make the use of local anesthesia somewhat challenging, and Dr. Muller kept me at ease and explained everything to me. When I walked into the OR and laid down on the table, he was friendly, caring, and his bedside manner was out of this world. He kept me calm and laughing while preparing me for surgery, and one of my first thoughts when I came to after surgery was gratitude to Dr. Muller. I’m not sure if he reads these reviews, but he should know that he took an already fantastic experience at HSS and somehow made it even more noteworthy. Thank you for all you did for me, Dr. Muller. It may have been just another surgery for you, but for me it was yet another reason I will always trust HSS.
