Dr. Mission and all of the staff I interacted with (MA, front desk, etc) were incredibly kind and welcoming. I had such a great experience coming into this clinic for my intro into MFM. I am looking forward to working with them during my future pregnancy journey!

Dr. Mission dismissed my husband and I the firstappointment for the pregnancy of my daughter. I had preeclampsia with my son and had an extremely difficult birth, he was in the NICU. I was very concerned. He told us he didn't have time for us, yet told us his and his husband's astrological signs? I told the staff I Absolutely never wanted to see him again in any circumstance. Didn't see him again until 6 months later when they surprised me with him for a BPP when I was 34 weekspregnant. He told me he didn't recognize me in a very passive aggressive way. I had to ask for my blood pressure to be checked 2x. I had gestational diabetes and the beginning of preeclampsia but he thought bloodwork was unnecessary even though my blood pressure was extremely high. Three days later at an NST, I found out my beautiful daughter didn't have a heartbeat. I was absolutely destroyed and devastated. I will NEVER be the same. If he did his JOB I'm confident my daughter would be alive and thriving.

Thorough, warm, and knowlegeable
Dr Mission helped us today review my ultrasound. He was thorough, warm, and knowledgeable. He made us feel at ease, which is very important.

John mission honestly was not empathetic to my husband and my concerns. He was more robotic in his responses like he was reading from a medical book versus using human emotion. I didn't feel like he genuinely cared about me, or my high risk situation, but just about me staying in the hospital feeling like a hostage, until my baby was delivered. I made it clear that I did not want him delivering my baby which seemed to bother him, but I didn't care. I did not trust him. He made me feel like another statistic to treat. Luckily, my son was delivered by the doctor of my choice.

Dr. Mission delivered my son when he was at the University of Pittsburgh. I had not met him prior to my delivery, which was with a high risk group. However, I was in the hospital for a total of 5 days with that delivery and he was there from the start, answered every question, and performed the resulting C-section after a failed induction. My C-section was perfect and healed amazing quick and well. He also has great humor which is needed in these situations!
