As a provider you should be more understanding an willing to change medication not just waiting to see if it works and have them in the hospital every 3 months for an evaluation

Dr. M has been working with our 16 year old son for years. Our son has Asperger's and ADHD, and many more challenges that have required medication trials and talk therapy. Dr. M. has been supportive, kind, patient and informative every step of the way. Dr. M. listens and pays attention not only to our son, but to us, his parents. I most appreciate Dr. M.'s laid back style, no urgency or immediate "fixes", the willingness to hear what's important to us and to our son, the constant support any time, any day, with anything we are needing. Dr. M. replies to emails and phone calls within hours. It's like we have a security blanket when things are hard, confusing or scary. There is real caring and intelligence and life experiences behind everything we are told. I can't recommend Dr. M. enough for young adults that require a professional to help them navigate their challenges.

We have been seeing Dr. Mesaros for our children for many years. She is easy to talk to. She is very accommodating and trying to help especially during challenging time. She has had always good advice and knows her subject. It was easy to get an appointment at her office in Berkeley then in Oakland and currently on zoom. She returns calls and follows up. She can prescribe medication and sends the prescriptions to our local pharmacy or the insurance mail-order pharmacy. She takes the time to review with patient and parents about the expected results and possible side effects of each medication, which medications should not be missed or those that can be skipped some days. She is very knowledgeable. We have been able to communicate with her by phone, texts and email. She has been a very good help. Our insurance is Cigna and she is on our plan.
