Hernia
Saw dr means Because my Hiatal hernia is back and has been for years but now the chest pain is getting awful. I bend over clutching my chest in pain and esophagus pain. He told me that the Hernia wasn’t really there and in my head which it clearly is and reports state that. He is a Surgeon who believes he’s God!. I wouldn’t see him unless you really have too.

Good surgeon but
I had a nissen fundoplication done and returned to see Dr Means when my symptoms didn’t subside but got worse. I do not believe that Dr Means did anything wrong with my procedure. However upon being told that there was no reason for my symptoms and it must be psychological I was not happy with his treatment of me. Turned out I had developed gastroparesis but it was left undiagnosed and untreated for years due to Dr Means inability to believe that he could have done any damage inadvertently.

Best Doctor around
I saw Dr. Means for a left inguinal hernia repair. He was excellent through the whole process. My recovery from the surgery was very tolerable without any medications. He explained everything to me in a way no doctor has ever spent the time doing so. I would recommend him to anyone needing a surgical procedure. Just fantastic all the way around. Thank you so much for helping me.

Laproscopic Inguinal Hernia
Dr. Means is very professional and an excellent surgeon. He did an outstanding job on my Inguinal hernia. Recovery was a breeze. I was very fortunate to have him as my surgeon.

Best doc I've ever seen
Dr. John Means saved my life. Nobody took me serious until I visited anaconda MT emergency room. Dr. Means took me into surgery to remove my gallbladder within an hour & he came & checked on me very early the next morning. I want Dr. Means to know how much I appreciate him & because of Dr. Means I get to go home to my 2 children. I will never forget the extremely high level of care that Dr. Means showed, I will never forget the day that he saved my life. He is a true hero.
