Dr. John McDonnell, MD

My daughter had an allergy attack and headaches. I called physician's exchange to page the doctor. He never called back! I called and left a voicemail message to relate my daughter's symptoms and that I was bringing her in without an appointment. When we arrived, we were told it would be a wait since we are walk-ins. I did explain that she is in pain and they said the doctor will see her as soon as possible. 45 minutes later she is taken into a room. 20 minutes after that, still no doctor. There was absolutely no consideration of urgency for a patient in need of immediate care. Even after I brought this to his attention, he still made no effort to see her. No one in that office was being seen for a current asthma or allergy attack, all preventative appointments. Do not go to this doctor, he and his staff do not care!!

Excellent! Dr. McD's first appointment with my son was a very thorough, comprehensive examination that was 3hrs. long! He was compassionate, engaging, explained everything in laymen terms so we understood the why's of my son's condition and the how to's of treatment. Dr. McD is compassionate, engaging, and made me and my son feel very comfortable. My son has not seen Dr. since that 1st appt. Thats how good Dr.s prescribed treatment is. To us he is the BEST!! Thank you Dr. McDonnell.

It takes almost three hours to have a skin test done on one person. I would not recommend this office to anybody who has plans the day they go in. I will be switching allergists.

He's absolutely one of the best doctors in the whole state. He is really compassionate and caring and goes out of his way to help patients and their families. He's also very thorough and takes time to listen and also to explain. He never rushes you in and out of the office. We are really blessed to have found such a great doctor!
