Wonderful doctor with an amazing team.
Dr. McDonald guided us through the hardest thing we have ever been through. I will always be grateful for the care and support from such a knowledgeable and kind doctor. I felt seen and heard and supported. Dr. McDonald spent time to explain in detail the prognosis and treatment and I left his office feeling calm and steady, I knew I was in good hands. I can’t say. thank you enough times, but thank you.

Dr McDonald told me five years ago that if I would trust him with the treatment procedure that he recommended for my diagnosis of Stage 3 ovarian cancer , that I would be done with this cancer... and he was very accurate in the diagnosis and prognosis . He is extremely professional, competent and congenial.

Dr. McDonald has the rare gift of common sense with a strong ability to make excellent medical decisions based on data as well as considering the individual needs of the patient. My surgery was 5 years ago and I still remember he was "right on" in every way. His staff is awesome! They were knowledgeable and supportive to me and my family as well. We are blessed to have a Dr. of this caliber practicing in Charlotte.

Dr. McDonald was the kindest, friendliest, and most compassionate Doctor I have ever been treated by. He helped myself and my husband during the most terrifying time in our lives and was very reassuring. Hewas 100% correct in that he would take good care of me and that I would be fine in the end. I highly, highly recommend Dr. McDonald and his staff.

He is not a hands on Doctor. He leaves many things for his PA to do, like explain the outcome of his surgery to patient after procedure. He doesn't do internal exams when they should have been done. There is no phone follow up after surgery to check on patient. Nice man, poor medical practice.
