I've been going to mountainside medicine for close to 20 years. Doctor McCue figured out what was wrong with me and literally saved my life and it was a long and comolicated diagnosis. He and all his staff are wonderful!!

Great doctor
My dad Robert Pierson was a patient of Dr. Mccue and he passed away last week. He was the type that knew more than any doctor, any doctor accept Dr. Mccue. He trusted his medical opinions over cancer and heart doctors at UVA and even wanted to see him when he decided to check himself out of the Culpeper ICU. I didn’t know Dr. Mccue personally but he must be a great honorable man to have earned the respect of my father both personally and as a doctor. I never heard him talk so positive about anyone in my entire life like he did about Dr. Mccue. Thank you for being his doctor and most importantly someone he considered a friend.

I have been going to Dr. McCue for years and his diagnosis and treatment of me are always spot on. He is also very caring and compassionate. I find the staff to also be wonderful. Sometimes you have to wait a while to be seen on a busy day but isn't that everywhere. I do recommend him to my friends.

Dr was great but his staff was horrible. Tried to explain need for vist and she tried to diagnose me and not give me an urgent appointment. She also wanted to fight me when I told her the office hours where wrong on computer, said oh well do you want this week later appointment or not. If I didn’t like the doctor I’d tell his staff off and never comeback. Never been treated so rudely and I was trying to be nice. Told doctor but don’t know if he did anything. BTW emergency hospitalized that day

Wife Susan is abrupt, bossy, rude. He is the opposite-jovial, gregarious, empathetic. Always hugs you, and jokes about himself. If a drug rep shows up, he will leave your appt to talk to them. And they are always showing up. He over perscribes opioids and benzos, even to kids for minor ailments. If you tell somone in the community you went to the doc, they say "get any good drugs?" (wink, wink). Nice man, bad doctor.

The receptionist named Susan at this office is very rude and disrespectful to be in line of work for customer service. To hang up on a patient is not professional and if I had to guess she has probably ran a lot of patients off. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in this type of profession.
