Long, long wait time...Getting a refill takes days, and they only give you 3 refills for your routine medications! I really like the doctor but the office is incompetent & greedy...

Dr Mattei is a wonderful doctor. He has taken care of me for several years now. When I had Covid he aggressively treated me and I was on my feet within a week. I live in Chapin and work in Lexington and he is worth the drive downtown to see him when I am ill.

Dr Mattei and staff are excellent in all aspects of healthcare. Sports medicine etc. i have been a patient for 9 yrs. I needed a new knee and he helped me with pre-op and reffered me to an excellent othropaedic surgeon.

Dr Mattei is one of Columbia’s finest doctors. He is a great listener and is friendly and considerate. Above all, he has the ability to access your needs and Propel you to good health.

Have been seen multiple times due to my health steadily declining for over a year now and, despite having to wait for over an hour to be seen each time and still not getting any kind of answers or relief, he rushes through the appt without taking time to listen, has no sense of urgency and has to be reminded which tests and procedures have been done so far and what previous course of treatment has been. Had labs drawn at my last appt and was told to expect a call the next day with the results however, it's now been over a week and have left several messages with his office staff about getting the results and let them know about worsening symptoms but, I still have yet to receive a call back. After months of not being able to function normally and feeling absolutely miserable, will be finding a new doctor.

I wanted to express my sincere appreciation to Dr. Mattei and his staff for the excellent care that I received at my visit. Dr. Mattei is friendly and caring and always maintains professionalism and efficient standards of service. I would highly recommend Dr. Mattei and his wonderful staff.

Excellent doctor - cares about his patients! Listens well and takes time with his patients - neer in a rush!

They never seem to make you a priority. for example I have ran out of needles for my medication and found a number they could call the pharmacy with and do a verbal prescription. The receptionist kept going on about a Prior Authorization, and no matter how I explained to the lady that I had already gotten approval from my insurance and only wanted to give her that number to see if that could speed up the over one week now that i could not take my medication.She hung up on me over and over again.
