Doesn’t give medicine that cures illness
Dr. Marcellus recommended medication that, after consulting with numerous doctors afterward, were not effective for my psychiatric condition. I had a really hard time dealing with the effects of what happened after I took Dr. Marcellus’ medicine.

Sad excuse for a man and doctor. Care nothing about helping his patients. His biggest care is his ego.

The best
Telehealth
Dr. Marcellus is thorough, smart and kind. He cares very much about keeping me on an even keel, devoting all the time, attention and follow-up necessary to assure my treatment is working and that I am feeling and coping well. I am so grateful for his expertise. He is a very special physician. I would recommend him to everyone needing help with their mental health.

Was misdiagnosed. I'm Navy Vet and astonished how
How Dr. Marcellus runs his cunning ideas to totally egregious lengths in terms of harming, not healing. There is so much baggage under Dr. Marcellus that I couldn't possibly fathom the way he misdiagnosed Post-traumatic stress disorder. I'm have paraplegia and my family saw this doctor as well, only to later be sent to the ER due to his overdosing prescriptions. This doctor is also known to overcharge.

Dr. Marcellus misdiagnoses those who are battling.
I was battling a range of psychotic disorders, from which Dr. Marcellus prescribed the wrong amount to me. It was so egregious that when I came to a new doctor in the ER that I had to go to because of him, I was told that Dr. Marcellus was ill-equipped even to perform his duties. Additionally, the amount of money I was charged was more than for services rendered

Very incompetent and diagnoses incorrectly
I, a 40-year Navy Vet for the United States Armed Forces, sought help from Dr. Marcellus in terms of PTSD. The doctor was extremely abusive in terms of language used to a military vet. Misdiagnosed and overcharged, as well.

Unorganized, unprofessional, don’t recommend
Dr. Marcellus was constantly late to my appointments and was rarely if at all responsive to emails or voicemails. I felt disrespected by his tone of voice, and as far as payment, it was all over the place for a diagnosis he made that actually ended up being incorrect according to several psychiatrists I saw afterward.

Dr. Marcellus is exceptionally good at intuitively understanding and teaching the skills necessary to cope with any underlying issues that often create an inability to handle normal but unexpected emotional stress.

I used to like Marcellus. He’s a very good and thorough doctor. However, the patient wait time is ridiculous. You could have an appointment scheduled for 3 and won’t be seen until 5. And that’s on a good day. He cares immensely for his patients but needs to manage his time slots better. One time, I was 15 minutes late to my scheduled appointment with him. When it was my turn, I had already waited an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment time to see him, and they were going to skip me (and make me wait longer) and let the next patient go ahead of me. Because they were on time for their appointment. Luckily, the other patients were well aware of his lateness so they let me go. I understand that he has a lot of patients that need to be seen and taken care of, but maybe manage the schedule a bit better, and don’t schedule so many appointments in one day.

Most unhelpful in getting refills for my son. It took over 3 weeks, multiple phone calls. They still did not get it right. I finally found the script at the wrong pharmacy and had it transferred to where I originally wanted it.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Marcellus. My past experiences with therapists often felt like awkward interviews (stuffy, too serious, straight-faced etc). But with Dr. Marcellus I feel very at ease and conversation flows naturally. I never find myself over analyzing or over-thinking before every response I give. I can speak very freely, which I think really helps to solve the real issues. He is always VERY professional, but in a warm, genuine way. He has helped me tremendously.
